دعت المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني إلى أخذ الحيطة والحذر، والبقاء في أماكن آمنة، والابتعاد عن مواقع تجمع السيول والأودية وعدم السباحة فيها؛ وذلك تزامنًا مع استمرار هطول الأمطار الرعدية على عدد من مناطق المملكة ابتداءً من يوم غدٍ السبت حتى الأربعاء المقبل؛ وفقًا للتقارير الواردة من المركز الوطني للأرصاد.
وأوضحت المديرية أن منطقة مكة المكرمة ستشهد أمطارًا متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول وتساقط البَرَد ونشاط الرياح الهابطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار، وتشمل الطائف وميسان وأضم والعرضيات، فيما تتأثر محافظات تربة والمويه والخرمة ورنية بأمطار خفيفة إلى متوسطة.
كما ستتأثر منطقة الرياض بأمطار خفيفة إلى متوسطة قد تتسبب في جريان السيول وتساقط البَرَد ونشاط الرياح الهابطة، وتشمل وادي الدواسر والسليل، في حين تتعرض مناطق جازان وعسير والباحة لأمطار من متوسطة إلى غزيرة مصحوبة بجريان السيول وتساقط البَرَد ونشاط الرياح المثيرة للأتربة، إضافة إلى أمطار خفيفة إلى متوسطة على منطقتي الشرقية ونجران.
وأكدت المديرية أهمية متابعة التعليمات والتحذيرات المعلنة عبر وسائل الإعلام الرسمية ومنصات التواصل الاجتماعي؛ نظرًا لاحتمال تطور الحالة الجوية واتساع نطاق تأثيرها خلال الأيام المقبلة.
The General Directorate of Civil Defense has called for caution and vigilance, to stay in safe places, and to avoid areas where floods and valleys gather, as well as not swimming in them; this comes as thunderstorms are expected to continue in several regions of the Kingdom starting tomorrow, Saturday, until next Wednesday, according to reports from the National Center of Meteorology.
The directorate clarified that the Makkah region will witness moderate to heavy rains leading to the flow of floods, hail, and active downbursts that stir up dust and sand, affecting Taif, Maysan, Adham, and Al-Ardiyat. Meanwhile, the provinces of Turbah, Al-Muwayh, Al-Khurmah, and Rania will experience light to moderate rains.
The Riyadh region will also be affected by light to moderate rains that may cause flooding and hail, with impacts including Wadi Al-Dawasir and Al-Sulayyil, while the regions of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha will experience moderate to heavy rains accompanied by flooding, hail, and active winds stirring up dust, in addition to light to moderate rains in the Eastern Province and Najran.
The directorate emphasized the importance of following the instructions and warnings announced through official media and social media platforms, due to the possibility of the weather situation developing and expanding its impact in the coming days.
