أصدر المركز الوطني للأرصاد تنبيهًا بشأن حالة جوية تؤثر اليوم في محافظة الجموم بمنطقة مكة المكرمة، تتمثل في أتربة مثارة ونشاط للرياح السطحية تصل سرعتها إلى ما بين (40 – 49) كم/ساعة، متسببةً في تدنٍ واضح بمدى الرؤية الأفقية ليصل إلى (3 – 5) كيلومترات، خصوصًا في الطرق المفتوحة والمناطق التي تتأثر سريعًا بتحرك الرياح.
وأوضح المركز أن هذه الحالة تأتي ضمن نشاط الرياح الموسمية التي تشهدها المنطقة خلال هذه الفترة؛ نتيجة ارتفاع درجات الحرارة واتساع الفوارق الحرارية بين الكتل الهوائية، ما يسهم في إثارة الأتربة والغبار وامتداد تأثيرها على الحركة المرورية وسلامة مرتادي الطرق.
وأشار إلى أن الحالة ستستمر -بمشيئة الله تعالى- حتى الساعة السابعة مساءً، داعيًا إلى توخي الحيطة، ومتابعة تحديثات الحالة الجوية عبر منصات المركز الرسمية؛ نظرًا لاحتمال تزايد سرعة الرياح خلال ساعات النهار.
وتشهد محافظة الجموم، خلال هذه الأيام، تقلبات مناخية موسمية تتكرر سنويًا، تتضمن نشاطًا للرياح السطحية وارتفاعًا في درجات الحرارة، الأمر الذي يستدعي رفع مستوى الجاهزية لدى الجهات المختصة للتعامل مع أي تطورات محتملة، خصوصًا في المواقع ذات الحركة المرورية الكثيفة.
The National Center of Meteorology has issued an alert regarding a weather condition affecting today in the Al-Jumum Governorate in the Makkah region, characterized by raised dust and active surface winds reaching speeds between (40 – 49) km/h, causing a noticeable reduction in horizontal visibility to between (3 – 5) kilometers, especially on open roads and areas that are quickly affected by wind movement.
The center clarified that this condition is part of the seasonal wind activity experienced in the region during this period; due to rising temperatures and widening thermal differences between air masses, which contributes to the stirring of dust and sand and extends its impact on traffic movement and the safety of road users.
It indicated that the condition will continue -God willing- until 7 PM, urging caution and following updates on the weather condition through the center's official platforms; due to the possibility of increased wind speeds during daylight hours.
The Al-Jumum Governorate is currently experiencing seasonal climatic fluctuations that occur annually, including active surface winds and rising temperatures, which necessitates raising the level of readiness among the relevant authorities to deal with any potential developments, especially in areas with heavy traffic.
