تنطلق اليوم (الجمعة) منافسات الجولة الثانية لبطولة السعودية لكسر الزمن، والتي ستقام على حلبة كورنيش جدة عند الساعة الرابعة عصراً، بإشراف الاتحاد السعودي للسيارات والدراجات النارية.
وكانت الجولة الافتتاحية قد شهدت منافسات قوية، وتُوج خلالها مأمون عمرو القباني بالمركز الأول في الترتيب العام، بعد تسجيله أسرع زمن بلغ دقيقة واحدة و12 ثانية و279 جزءاً من الألف من الثانية، محققاً رقماً قياسياً جديداً في البطولة، فيما حل فيصل سفيان القباني ثانياً، وجاء محمد أبو داود ثالثاً.
وانطلق برنامج الجولة ظهر أمس (الخميس) بإجراءات التدقيق الإداري والفحص الفني للسيارات المشاركة، للتأكد من استيفاء المتطلبات الفنية ومعايير السلامة المعتمدة، بالتزامن مع جولة التعرف على المسار، كما أقيمت التجارب الحرة التي شكلت فرصة للسائقين لاختبار أداء سياراتهم على المسار وتقييم جاهزيتهم. وبلغ عدد المسجلين في الجولة الثانية 88 متسابقاً ومتسابقة، ضمن 11 فئة، إلى جانب كأس السيدات.
وينطلق السباق الأول عند الساعة الرابعة عصراً، يليه السباق الثاني عند الساعة السابعة والربع مساءً، حيث يسعى كل متسابق إلى تسجيل أسرع زمن ممكن، فيما يُحدد ترتيب الفائزين في كل فئة وفق أفضل زمن مسجل خلال جلستي السباق. وتُختتم الجولة الثانية بإعلان الترتيب النهائي عند الساعة الحادية عشرة ليلاً، يليه حفل التتويج وتكريم الفائزين في مختلف الفئات، في جولة تكتسب أهمية خاصة مع دخول البطولة النصف الثاني من موسمها واشتداد المنافسة على صدارة الترتيب قبل الجولة الثالثة والأخيرة.
ويتكون موسم بطولة السعودية لكسر الزمن 2026 من ثلاث جولات، تقام جميعها على حلبة كورنيش جدة، على أن يُختتم الموسم بالجولة الثالثة والأخيرة يومي 15 و16 أكتوبر القادم.
وتواصل بطولة السعودية لكسر الزمن توفير بيئة تنافسية منظمة تتيح للسائقين تطوير مهاراتهم واكتساب المزيد من الخبرات، إلى جانب دعم المواهب الوطنية وتوسيع قاعدة الممارسين وتعزيز حضور رياضة المحركات في المملكة.
Today (Friday), the second round of the Saudi Time Attack Championship kicks off, which will take place at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit at 4 PM, under the supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation.
The opening round witnessed fierce competition, during which Mamoun Amro Al-Qabani was crowned first in the overall standings, after recording the fastest time of 1 minute, 12 seconds, and 279 milliseconds, achieving a new record in the championship. Faisal Sufyan Al-Qabani came in second, while Mohammed Abu Dawood finished third.
The round's program began yesterday (Thursday) with administrative checks and technical inspections of the participating cars, to ensure compliance with the technical requirements and approved safety standards, coinciding with a track familiarization lap. Free practice sessions were also held, providing drivers with the opportunity to test their cars' performance on the track and assess their readiness. A total of 88 competitors, both male and female, registered for the second round across 11 categories, in addition to the Ladies' Cup.
The first race will start at 4 PM, followed by the second race at 7:15 PM, where each competitor aims to record the fastest possible time. The winners' rankings in each category will be determined based on the best time recorded during the two racing sessions. The second round will conclude with the announcement of the final standings at 11 PM, followed by a prize-giving ceremony honoring the winners in various categories, in a round that holds special significance as the championship enters the second half of its season and the competition intensifies for the top standings ahead of the third and final round.
The 2026 Saudi Time Attack Championship season consists of three rounds, all held at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, with the season concluding with the third and final round on October 15 and 16.
The Saudi Time Attack Championship continues to provide an organized competitive environment that allows drivers to develop their skills and gain more experience, in addition to supporting national talents, expanding the base of practitioners, and enhancing the presence of motorsport in the Kingdom.
