في ضربة أمنية مباغتة استهدفت أحد أثقل أذرع الترويج للعهد السابق، نفذت القوات الأمنية السورية عملية خاطفة في عمق ريف دمشق، أسفرت عن تحديد واقتحام موقع الإقامة السري لـ«سنال الخضر»، الإعلامية البارزة في نظام الأسد المخلوع، والقبض عليها إلى جانب طاقم شبكة أعمالها المقرب.
العملية المعقدة التي قطعت خيوط تواري الخضر عن الأنظار، أوقعت بـ«الصندوق الأسود» للإعلام الحربي، إذ تولت الموقوفة أدواراً مفصلية طوال السنوات الماضية، بدءاً من قيادة فرع الإعلام الحربي في ما كان يُعرف بـ«الدفاع الوطني»، مروراً بمهام المراسلة الميدانية للعمليات العسكرية، وصولاً إلى إشرافها المباشر على قسم العلاقات العامة برئاسة مجلس الوزراء.
وبينما تكتمت الجهات الرسمية السورية على قائمة التهم الدقيقة الموجهة إليها وإلى المجموعة المعتقلة معها لحين استكمال التحقيقات الأولية، يرى مراقبون أن القبض على الخضر يشكل صيداً ثميناً لفك شفرات الهياكل الترويجية والتنفيذية التي أدارت الخطاب الرسمي للنظام المخلوع حتى لحظاته الأخيرة.
In a sudden security strike targeting one of the heaviest promotional arms of the previous regime, Syrian security forces carried out a swift operation deep in the countryside of Damascus, resulting in the identification and storming of the secret residence of "Sanal Al-Khadr," a prominent media figure in the ousted Assad regime, and the arrest of her along with her close network crew.
The complex operation, which cut the threads of Al-Khadr's concealment from sight, captured the "black box" of war media, as the detainee had played pivotal roles over the past years, starting from leading the war media branch in what was known as the "National Defense," through her tasks as a field correspondent for military operations, to her direct supervision of the public relations department under the presidency of the Council of Ministers.
While Syrian official authorities remained tight-lipped about the precise charges directed at her and the group arrested with her until the completion of preliminary investigations, observers believe that the arrest of Al-Khadr represents a valuable catch for deciphering the promotional and executive structures that managed the official discourse of the ousted regime until its last moments.
