توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد استمرار هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة اليوم، على أجزاء من مناطق جازان وعسير والباحة ومكة المكرمة، مصحوبة بزخات من البَرَد ورياح نشطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار، مع احتمالات جريان السيول.
وأوضح المركز، في تقريره عن حالة الطقس، أن الأمطار ستكون خفيفة إلى متوسطة على أجزاء من منطقة نجران، فيما تظل درجات الحرارة العظمى مرتفعة على أجزاء من المنطقة الشرقية، مع عدم استبعاد تكوّن الضباب خلال ساعات الصباح الباكر على أجزائها الساحلية.
البحر الأحمر.. رياح تتجاوز 50 كم
وعلى البحر الأحمر، تكون حركة الرياح السطحية شمالية غربية إلى شمالية على الجزأين الشمالي والأوسط، فيما تكون جنوبية غربية إلى غربية على الجزء الجنوبي، تتحول مساءً إلى شمالية غربية فشمالية، بسرعة تراوح بين 16 و36 كم/ساعة، وتصل إلى أكثر من 50 كم/ساعة مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة جنوباً.
ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين نصف متر ومتر ونصف، وقد يتجاوز مترين على الجزء الجنوبي بالتزامن مع السحب الرعدية، فيما تكون حالة البحر خفيفة إلى متوسطة الموج، وتصل إلى مائجة جنوباً.
الخليج العربي.. أمواج تصل إلى مترين
وفي الخليج العربي، تكون الرياح السطحية شمالية غربية إلى غربية بسرعة تراوح بين 15 و35 كم/ساعة على الجزأين الشمالي والأوسط، وتصل إلى 45 كم/ساعة شمالاً، فيما تتحول على الجزء الجنوبي من شمالية غربية إلى جنوبية غربية بسرعة 10-25 كم/ساعة.
ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين نصف متر ومتر ونصف على الجزأين الشمالي والأوسط، ويصل إلى مترين شمالاً، وبين نصف متر ومتر على الجزء الجنوبي. وتكون حالة البحر خفيفة إلى متوسطة الموج شمالاً ووسطاً، وخفيفة الموج جنوباً.
The National Center of Meteorology expects the continuation of moderate to heavy thunderstorms today in parts of the Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions, accompanied by hail showers and active winds stirring up dust and sand, with the possibility of flash floods.
The center clarified in its weather report that the rain will be light to moderate in parts of the Najran region, while high temperatures will persist in parts of the Eastern region, with the possibility of fog formation during the early morning hours along its coastal areas.
The Red Sea.. Winds exceeding 50 km/h
On the Red Sea, the surface winds will be northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts, while they will be southwesterly to westerly in the southern part, shifting in the evening to northwesterly and then northerly, at speeds ranging between 16 and 36 km/h, and exceeding 50 km/h with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the south.
Wave heights will range between half a meter and one and a half meters, and may exceed two meters in the southern part coinciding with thunderstorm clouds, while the sea condition will be light to moderate, reaching choppy in the south.
The Arabian Gulf.. Waves reaching two meters
In the Arabian Gulf, the surface winds will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds ranging between 15 and 35 km/h in the northern and central parts, reaching 45 km/h in the north, while shifting in the southern part from northwesterly to southwesterly at speeds of 10-25 km/h.
Wave heights will range between half a meter and one and a half meters in the northern and central parts, reaching two meters in the north, and between half a meter and one meter in the southern part. The sea condition will be light to moderate in the north and central areas, and light in the south.
