ضبطت الدوريات الساحلية التابعة لحرس الحدود في منطقة مكة المكرمة أربعة مخالفين من الجنسيتين الميانمارية والبنغلاديشية في محافظة القنفذة، بعد ممارستهم الصيد دون تصريح واستخدام أدوات محظورة؛ حيث جرى اتخاذ الإجراءات النظامية بحقهم بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة، في إطار الجهود المستمرة لحماية الثروات المائية الحية والحد من التجاوزات في المناطق البحرية للمملكة.
وأكد حرس الحدود أهمية الالتزام بالأنظمة والتعليمات المنظمة للأنشطة البحرية، مشددًا على ضرورة الإبلاغ عن أي ممارسات تمثل اعتداءً على البيئة أو الحياة الفطرية عبر الرقم (911) في مناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والرياض والشرقية، أو الرقم (994) في بقية مناطق المملكة، مع ضمان سرية البلاغات وعدم تحميل المبلّغ أي مسؤولية.
وتأتي هذه الضبطيات ضمن سلسلة من العمليات الميدانية التي ينفذها حرس الحدود في مختلف المناطق الساحلية؛ بهدف تعزيز الرقابة على الأنشطة البحرية وضمان الالتزام بالتشريعات المنظمة للصيد وحماية البيئة البحرية.
The coastal patrols of the Border Guard in the Makkah region apprehended four violators of Myanmar and Bangladeshi nationalities in the Al-Qunfudhah governorate, after they engaged in fishing without a permit and used prohibited tools; legal actions were taken against them in coordination with the relevant authorities, as part of ongoing efforts to protect living marine resources and limit violations in the Kingdom's maritime areas.
The Border Guard emphasized the importance of adhering to the regulations and instructions governing maritime activities, stressing the necessity of reporting any practices that constitute an assault on the environment or wildlife through the number (911) in the Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, or the number (994) in other areas of the Kingdom, ensuring the confidentiality of reports and that the reporter bears no responsibility.
This apprehension is part of a series of field operations carried out by the Border Guard in various coastal areas; aimed at enhancing oversight of maritime activities and ensuring compliance with regulations governing fishing and protecting the marine environment.
