عادت واقعة الفنان المصري عمرو دياب والشاب سعد أسامة إلى أروقة المحاكم مجددًا، بعد تحرك قضائي جديد يطالب بإلزام الفنان بدفع تعويض مالي وأدبي قدره مليون دولار، على خلفية الواقعة التي أثارت جدلًا واسعًا في مصر قبل أكثر من عامين.
جلسة جديدة في سبتمبر
وكشف محامي سعد أسامة، حسين أبو دوح، عن تحديد جلسة 24 سبتمبر المقبل لنظر دعوى التعويض المقامة ضد عمرو دياب، موضحًا أن الدعوى تتضمن مطالبة بمليون دولار تعويضًا عن الأضرار المادية والأدبية التي يقول موكله إنه تعرض لها جراء الواقعة.
وأوضح المحامي، في تصريحات تلفزيونية، أن المطالبة بالدولار جاءت باعتباره العملة التي يتقاضى بها عمرو دياب أجره عن حفلاته، بحسب ما ذكره في تصريحاته.
حكم النقض
وتأتي دعوى التعويض بعد حسم الشق الجنائي من القضية، إذ أيدت محكمة النقض المصرية في أبريل الماضي الحكم الصادر بتغريم عمرو دياب 200 جنيه، بعد رفض الطعن المقدم منه.
كما قضى الحكم ببراءة سعد أسامة وتعويضه بمبلغ 10 آلاف جنيه، لتصبح الأحكام الصادرة في الشق الجنائي مؤيدة من محكمة النقض.
بداية الواقعة
وتعود تفاصيل القضية إلى يونيو 2024، عندما انتشر مقطع فيديو من حفل زفاف في القاهرة، ظهر خلاله أحد الحاضرين وهو يحاول التقاط صورة «سيلفي» مع عمرو دياب، قبل أن ينتهي الموقف بقيام الفنان بصفعه.
وأثار المقطع موجة واسعة من التفاعل والجدل عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، قبل أن تنتقل الواقعة إلى ساحات القضاء، بعدما أحالت النيابة العامة الطرفين إلى المحاكمة على خلفية اتهامات بالتعدي المتبادل.
وبينما حُسم الشق الجنائي من القضية، تعود الواقعة مجددًا إلى الواجهة من بوابة دعوى التعويض، التي ستنظرها المحكمة في جلستها المقررة سبتمبر المقبل.
The incident involving the Egyptian artist Amr Diab and the young man Saad Osama has returned to the courts once again, following a new legal move demanding that the artist pay a financial and moral compensation of one million dollars, in light of the incident that sparked widespread controversy in Egypt more than two years ago.
New Session in September
Saad Osama's lawyer, Hussein Abu Douh, revealed that a session has been set for September 24 to consider the compensation lawsuit filed against Amr Diab, explaining that the lawsuit includes a demand for one million dollars as compensation for the material and moral damages that his client claims to have suffered as a result of the incident.
The lawyer clarified, in television statements, that the demand for dollars came as it is the currency that Amr Diab receives for his concert fees, according to what he mentioned in his statements.
Ruling of Cassation
The compensation lawsuit follows the resolution of the criminal aspect of the case, as the Egyptian Court of Cassation upheld last April the ruling that fined Amr Diab 200 pounds, after rejecting his appeal.
The ruling also acquitted Saad Osama and awarded him a compensation of 10,000 pounds, making the rulings issued in the criminal aspect supported by the Court of Cassation.
Beginning of the Incident
The details of the case date back to June 2024, when a video clip from a wedding in Cairo went viral, showing one of the attendees trying to take a "selfie" with Amr Diab, before the situation ended with the artist slapping him.
The clip sparked a wide wave of interaction and controversy across social media platforms, before the incident moved to the courts, after the public prosecution referred both parties to trial on charges of mutual assault.
While the criminal aspect of the case has been resolved, the incident has resurfaced through the compensation lawsuit, which the court will consider in its scheduled session next September.
