في إطار تنفيذ مهمات وزارة الداخلية في مكافحة المخدرات وجهودها في متابعة نشاطات تهريبها وترويجها التي تستهدف أمن المملكة وشبابها، أحبطت المديرية العامة لحرس الحدود محاولات تهريب 942,485 قرصًا من مادة الإمفيتامين المخدر و2,695,731 قرصًا خاضعًا لتنظيم التداول الطبي و2.8 طن من مادة الحشيش المخدر، و138 طنًا من نبات القات المخدر، وقبضت على مهربيها بمناطق تبوك وجازان وعسير ونجران، وهم 1,123 مخالفًا لنظام أمن الحدود من الجنسية الإثيوبية و832 مخالفًا لنظام أمن الحدود من الجنسية اليمنية و25 مواطنًا.
وتهيب وزارة الداخلية بالمواطنين والمقيمين المبادرة إلى الإبلاغ عن كل ما يتوفر لديهم من معلومات عن أي نشاطات ذات صلة بتهريب أو ترويج المخدرات، وذلك من خلال الاتصال بالأرقام (911) في مناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والرياض والشرقية و(999) و(994) في بقية مناطق المملكة، ورقم بلاغات المديرية العامة لمكافحة المخدرات (995)، وعبر البريد الإلكتروني Email: 995@gdnc.gov.sa، وجميع البلاغات تعامل بسرية تامة دون أدنى مسؤولية على المبلّغ.
As part of the implementation of the Ministry of Interior's tasks in combating drugs and its efforts to monitor the activities of smuggling and promoting them that target the security of the Kingdom and its youth, the General Directorate of Border Guard thwarted attempts to smuggle 942,485 pills of the narcotic substance amphetamine, 2,695,731 pills subject to medical trading regulations, 2.8 tons of hashish, and 138 tons of khat. They arrested the smugglers in the regions of Tabuk, Jazan, Asir, and Najran, which included 1,123 violators of the border security system of Ethiopian nationality, 832 violators of the border security system of Yemeni nationality, and 25 citizens.
The Ministry of Interior urges citizens and residents to take the initiative to report any information they have regarding any activities related to drug smuggling or promotion, by contacting the numbers (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and (999) and (994) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions, as well as the General Directorate for Drug Control's reporting number (995), and via email at Email: 995@gdnc.gov.sa. All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality without any liability on the reporter.
