اطّلع نائب أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة الأمير سعود بن نهار بن سعود بن عبدالعزيز على استعدادات قطاع التعليم بالمنطقة لبدء العام الدراسي 1448هـ، وخطط الإدارة العامة للتعليم لاستقبال أكثر من نصف مليون طالب وطالبة في (2631) مدرسة بالمدينة المنورة ومحافظاتها.
جاء ذلك خلال استقباله المدير العام للتعليم بالمنطقة ناصر العبدالكريم الذي استعرض خطة الاستعداد للعام الدراسي الجديد، وما تتضمنه من أعمال تهيئة المدارس والمرافق التعليمية، واستكمال أعمال الصيانة والتجهيزات المدرسية، ومتابعة وصول المقررات الدراسية، واستكمال احتياج المدارس من الكوادر التعليمية، إلى جانب إجراءات القبول والتسجيل، بما يكفل انتظام الدراسة منذ اليوم الأول.
وتناول اللقاء أبرز ما تضمنه نظام التعليم العام الجديد، متضمنًا إنشاء مجلس شؤون التعليم، والتنظيمات والأدوار المرتبطة به، بما يسهم في تطوير منظومة التعليم، ورفع كفاءتها وتعزيز جودة مخرجاتها، واستعرض خلاله المدير العام للتعليم المشروعات التعليمية التي يتزامن تشغيلها مع بدء العام الدراسي 1448هـ، إذ تتضمن مشروعًا يضم مبنيين مدرسيين جديدين بإجمالي (60) فصلًا دراسيًا، ومبنى جديدًا لرياض الأطفال يضم 4 فصول، إضافة إلى 5 صالات رياضية جديدة.
وتضمنت الاستعدادات إحداث مدرستين مركزيتين للمرحلة الثانوية للبنين والبنات، وتحديث (21) برنامجًا للتربية الخاصة، إلى جانب الإعلان عن أول مدرسة للموهوبين الإعلاميين في المدينة المنورة، ليرتفع عدد المدارس المتخصصة في المنطقة إلى 4 مدارس.
وشهد اللقاء استعراض مؤشرات القبول والتسجيل للعام الدراسي الجديد، إذ بلغ عدد المسجلين في الصف الأول الابتدائي حتى تاريخه (24,600) طالب وطالبة، فيما بلغ عدد المسجلين في المستوى الثالث من رياض الأطفال (19,700) طفل.
واطلع سموه على عرض عن أبرز ما حققته منطقة المدينة المنورة في اكتشاف الموهوبين ورعايتهم، إلى جانب التوسع في المدارس المتخصصة والبرامج النوعية الهادفة إلى تنمية قدراتهم وصقل مواهبهم، وتوفير مسارات تعليمية محفزة على الإبداع والابتكار.
وثمّن المدير العام للتعليم بالمنطقة دعم واهتمام سمو نائب أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة بقطاع التعليم، مؤكدًا مواصلة العمل على تطوير البيئة التعليمية، وتوسيع الفرص النوعية للطلاب والطالبات، بما يسهم في بناء قدراتهم وإعدادهم للمستقبل.
The Deputy Emir of the Medina Region, Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, reviewed the preparations of the education sector in the region for the start of the 1448 AH academic year, and the plans of the General Education Administration to welcome more than half a million male and female students in (2631) schools in Medina and its governorates.
This came during his reception of the General Director of Education in the region, Nasser Al-Abdulkarim, who presented the readiness plan for the new academic year, which includes the preparation of schools and educational facilities, completing maintenance and school equipment, monitoring the arrival of educational materials, and fulfilling the needs of schools for educational staff, in addition to admission and registration procedures, ensuring the continuity of studies from the first day.
The meeting addressed the main features of the new general education system, including the establishment of an Education Affairs Council, and the regulations and roles associated with it, which contribute to the development of the education system, enhancing its efficiency, and improving the quality of its outputs. During the meeting, the General Director of Education reviewed the educational projects that will coincide with the start of the 1448 AH academic year, including a project that includes two new school buildings with a total of (60) classrooms, a new building for kindergartens with 4 classrooms, in addition to 5 new gymnasiums.
The preparations included the establishment of two central high schools for boys and girls, updating (21) special education programs, as well as announcing the first school for gifted media students in Medina, raising the number of specialized schools in the region to 4 schools.
The meeting also reviewed the indicators of admission and registration for the new academic year, as the number of registered students in the first grade of primary school to date has reached (24,600) male and female students, while the number of registered students in the third level of kindergarten has reached (19,700) children.
His Highness was briefed on a presentation about the achievements of the Medina Region in discovering and nurturing gifted individuals, as well as the expansion of specialized schools and quality programs aimed at developing their abilities and honing their talents, and providing educational pathways that stimulate creativity and innovation.
The General Director of Education in the region appreciated the support and interest of His Highness the Deputy Emir of Medina in the education sector, affirming the continuation of efforts to develop the educational environment and expand quality opportunities for male and female students, contributing to building their capabilities and preparing them for the future.
