وجّه أمير منطقة نجران الأمير جلوي بن عبدالعزيز بن مساعد فرع وزارة الصحة بالمنطقة باعتماد «الذكاء الاصطناعي في القطاع الصحي» محوراً لملتقى نجران الصحي الثامن، وللنسخة السادسة من «جائزة الأمير جلوي بن عبدالعزيز للتميز الصحي»، تزامناً مع تسمية عام 2026 عاماً للذكاء الاصطناعي؛ بما يعزز توظيف التقنيات الحديثة والابتكار في تطوير القطاع الصحي والارتقاء بجودة الخدمات، مع إتاحة المشاركة في الجائزة لجميع المنشآت في القطاعات الحكومية والخاصة وغير الربحية، إضافةً إلى الأفراد من مختلف مناطق المملكة.
جاء ذلك خلال لقائه في مكتبه المدير العام لفرع وزارة الصحة بمنطقة نجران الدكتور إبراهيم بن صالح بني هميم، يرافقه عدد من منسوبي الفرع.
واستعرض أمير منطقة نجران خلال اللقاء استعدادات فرع وزارة الصحة بالمنطقة لإقامة «ملتقى نجران الصحي الثامن»، وإطلاق النسخة السادسة من «جائزة الأمير جلوي بن عبدالعزيز للتميز الصحي»، واطلع على أهداف الملتقى والجائزة ومحاورهما، ودورهما في دعم الابتكار والتطوير في القطاع الصحي، وتبادل الخبرات، وتعزيز التكامل مع الجهات ذات العلاقة.
وأوضح بني هميم أن الملتقى سيشكل منصة لاستعراض أحدث الابتكارات والتطبيقات الذكية في القطاع الصحي، فيما تواصل الجائزة دورها في ترسيخ ثقافة التميز وتحفيز الإبداع والابتكار، من خلال تكريم أفضل المبادرات والنماذج المتميزة في توظيف الذكاء الاصطناعي عبر ستة مسارات، بما يسهم في دعم مسيرة التحول الصحي، والارتقاء بجودة الخدمات، وتعزيز جودة الحياة.
The Emir of Najran Region, Prince Jalwa bin Abdulaziz bin Musaid, directed the branch of the Ministry of Health in the region to adopt "Artificial Intelligence in the Health Sector" as a theme for the eighth Najran Health Forum and for the sixth edition of the "Prince Jalwa bin Abdulaziz Award for Health Excellence," coinciding with the designation of 2026 as the Year of Artificial Intelligence; this aims to enhance the employment of modern technologies and innovation in developing the health sector and improving the quality of services, while allowing participation in the award for all establishments in government, private, and non-profit sectors, in addition to individuals from various regions of the Kingdom.
This came during his meeting in his office with the Director General of the Ministry of Health branch in Najran, Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Bani Hamim, accompanied by a number of branch staff.
During the meeting, the Emir of Najran reviewed the preparations of the Ministry of Health branch in the region for holding the "Eighth Najran Health Forum" and launching the sixth edition of the "Prince Jalwa bin Abdulaziz Award for Health Excellence." He was briefed on the objectives of the forum and the award, their themes, and their role in supporting innovation and development in the health sector, exchanging experiences, and enhancing integration with relevant entities.
Dr. Bani Hamim explained that the forum will serve as a platform to showcase the latest innovations and smart applications in the health sector, while the award continues its role in establishing a culture of excellence and stimulating creativity and innovation by honoring the best initiatives and outstanding models in employing artificial intelligence across six tracks, contributing to supporting the health transformation journey, improving service quality, and enhancing quality of life.
