«الأرصاد»: أمطار رعدية على 5 مناطق

The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report for today (Sunday) that thunderstorms accompanied by hail showers will occur in parts of the regions of Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah. The impact of active winds that stir up dust and sand will also continue in parts of those regions, as well as in parts of the Madinah region and the coastal road leading to Jazan. The formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds is not ruled out in parts of the Eastern and Riyadh regions, with continued rising maximum temperatures in parts of them, as well as in parts of the Northern Borders and Qassim regions.
The report indicated that the surface wind movement over the Red Sea is from the northwest to the southwest at a speed of 10-30 km/h, reaching 45 km/h in the central and southern parts. It can also reach 50 km/h with the formation of thunderclouds in the southern part, and the wave height ranges from half a meter to one meter in the northern part, and from half a meter to two meters in the central and southern parts, exceeding two meters with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds in the southern part. The sea condition is mild in the northern part and light to moderate in the central and southern parts, reaching choppy with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds in the southern part.
The wind movement over the Arabian Gulf will be from the southeast to the southwest at a speed of 10-30 km/h in the northern and central parts, and from the northeast to the southeast at a speed of 10-28 km/h, reaching 50 km/h with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds in the southern part. The wave height will range from half a meter to one meter, exceeding two meters with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds in the southern part, and the sea condition will be mild, reaching choppy with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds in the southern part.
