توقع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس اليوم (السبت) هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة على أجزاء من منطقتي جازان وعسير، وتكون خفيفة إلى متوسطة على أجزاء من مرتفعات منطقتي الباحة ومكة المكرمة، ويبقى الطقس حاراً إلى شديد الحرارة على أجزاء من منطقتي الشرقية والرياض، ولا يستبعد تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة المصحوبة برياح نشطة على الأجزاء الجنوبية منهما كذلك على أجزاء من منطقة نجران، وتؤثر الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من منطقتي مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة تمتد إلى أجزاء من منطقة حائل.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر شمالية غربية إلى غربية بسرعة 15-40 كم/ساعة تصل إلى أكثر من 50 كم/ساعة مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف يصل إلى أعلى من مترين مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج يصل إلى مائج مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي.
ونبه الأرصاد من هطول أمطار متوسطة على منطقة الباحة، مصحوبة برياح شديدة السرعة، وشبه انعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية، وجريان للسيول، وتساقط البرد، وصواعق رعدية، على مدينة الباحة ومحافظات العقيق، وبلجرشي، والمندق، وبني حسن، والقرى، والأجزاء المجاورة لها وتستمر الحالة حتى الساعة الثامنة مساءً.
ونبه الأرصاد من هطول أمطار خفيفة، مصحوبة برياح نشطة، وتدنٍ في مدى الرؤية الأفقية، وصواعق رعدية، على محافظات المخواة، وقلوة، وغامد الزناد، والحجرة، والأجزاء المجاورة لها.
وبين أن الحالة تستمر حتى الساعة الثامنة مساءً.
وفي نجران توقع الأرصاد أتربة مثارة على محافظة شرورة، مصحوبة برياح شديدة السرعة تصل سرعتها إلى (50-59) كم/ساعة، تؤدي إلى شبه انعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية (1 - 3) كيلومترات، على المحافظة وستستمر الحالة حتى الساعة السابعة مساءً.
The National Center of Meteorology predicted in its weather report today (Saturday) moderate to heavy thunderstorms accompanied by hail showers and active winds in parts of the Jazan and Asir regions. Light to moderate rain is expected in parts of the highlands of the Al-Baha and Makkah regions, while the weather remains hot to very hot in parts of the Eastern and Riyadh regions. Thunderstorm clouds accompanied by active winds are also likely to form in their southern parts, as well as in parts of the Najran region. Active winds stirring up dust and sand will affect parts of the Makkah and Madinah regions, extending to parts of the Hail region.
The report indicated that the surface winds over the Red Sea are northwesterly to westerly at a speed of 15-40 km/h, reaching over 50 km/h with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part. The meteorological authority also warned of light rain, accompanied by active winds, reduced horizontal visibility, and thunderstorms in the governorates of Al-Mukhwah, Qilwah, Ghamid Al-Zanad, Al-Hajrah, and the neighboring areas.
It was indicated that this condition will continue until 8 PM.
In Najran, the meteorological authority expects dust storms in the Sharurah governorate, accompanied by strong winds reaching speeds of (50-59) km/h, leading to near-zero horizontal visibility (1 - 3 kilometers) in the governorate, and this condition will continue until 7 PM.
