نوّه أمير منطقة نجران الأمير جلوي بن عبدالعزيز بن مساعد بما يحظى به القطاع الزراعي من دعم واهتمام من القيادة الرشيدة، مؤكدًا أهمية دعم المزارعين والأسر المنتجة، وتعزيز تسويق المنتجات الزراعية المحلية، والإسهام في رفع القيمة المضافة للقطاع الزراعي، بما يعزز التنمية الاقتصادية، ويبرز ما تتميز به منطقة نجران من مقومات زراعية وإنتاجية. جاء ذلك خلال اطّلاعه في مكتبه على تقرير مهرجان خيرات نجران 2026، الذي قدمه المدير العام لفرع وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة بالمنطقة المهندس مريح الشهراني، بحضور عددٍ من منسوبي الفرع.
واستمع أمير منطقة نجران إلى أبرز نتائج المهرجان، إذ أوضح المهندس الشهراني أن المهرجان أُقيم لمدة 5 أيام ضمن فعاليات صيف نجران 2026 في ساحة قصر الإمارة التاريخي، بمشاركة أكثر من 25 ركنًا زراعيًا، واستقبل أكثر من 8000 زائر، وتضمن 5 فعاليات مصاحبة، كما استعرض أبرز المنتجات الزراعية التي تشتهر بها المنطقة، إلى جانب نتائج مزاد البن النجراني الذي أُقيم بالتعاون مع الجمعية التعاونية الزراعية للبن (أكنا)، وبلغ فيه سعر الكيلو 2000 ريال، بما يعكس جودة المنتج المحلي وقيمته السوقية.
وقدم المهندس الشهراني شكره لأمير منطقة نجران على دعمه واهتمامه بالقطاع الزراعي، ومتابعته المستمرة للمبادرات والبرامج التي تسهم في تنمية القطاع، ودعم المزارعين والأسر المنتجة بالمنطقة.
The Prince of Najran, Prince Jalwa bin Abdulaziz bin Musaid, highlighted the support and attention the agricultural sector receives from the wise leadership, emphasizing the importance of supporting farmers and productive families, enhancing the marketing of local agricultural products, and contributing to increasing the added value of the agricultural sector, which boosts economic development and showcases the agricultural and productive components that characterize the Najran region. This came during his review in his office of the report on the Najran Bounty Festival 2026, presented by the Director General of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture branch in the region, Engineer Muraiah Al-Shahrani, in the presence of several branch staff members.
The Prince of Najran listened to the main results of the festival, where Engineer Al-Shahrani explained that the festival was held for 5 days as part of the Najran Summer 2026 activities in the historic Emirate Palace courtyard, with the participation of more than 25 agricultural booths, welcoming over 8000 visitors, and including 5 accompanying events. He also showcased the most prominent agricultural products that the region is known for, in addition to the results of the Najran coffee auction held in cooperation with the Agricultural Cooperative Society for Coffee (Akna), where the price per kilogram reached 2000 riyals, reflecting the quality of the local product and its market value.
Engineer Al-Shahrani expressed his gratitude to the Prince of Najran for his support and interest in the agricultural sector, and for his continuous follow-up on the initiatives and programs that contribute to the development of the sector, and support for farmers and productive families in the region.
