أجرى ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، اتصالاً هاتفياً برئيس وزراء مملكة إسبانيا بيدرو سانشيز.
وجرى خلال الاتصال بحث مجالات التعاون بين البلدين وسبل تعزيزها في عدد من المجالات، واستعراض عدد من الموضوعات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
وأعرب سانشيز خلال الاتصال عن إدانة بلاده واستنكارها للهجمات التي شنتها مليشيا الحوثي على السفن السعودية، وتهديدها حرية الملاحة البحرية في البحر الأحمر، مؤكداً وقوف بلاده التام إلى جانب المملكة، ودعمها كل ما تتخذه من إجراءات للحفاظ على أمنها وسيادتها وحماية مصالحها.
Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman made a phone call to the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain, Pedro Sánchez.
During the call, they discussed areas of cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance it in several fields, as well as reviewing a number of topics of mutual interest.
Sánchez expressed during the call his country's condemnation and denunciation of the attacks carried out by the Houthi militia on Saudi ships, and their threat to freedom of navigation in the Red Sea, affirming his country's full support for the Kingdom and backing all measures it takes to maintain its security, sovereignty, and protect its interests.
