أوقفت شركة «إير كايرو» مضيفة طيران عن العمل، وأحالتها إلى التحقيق، بعد تداول مقطع فيديو أثار موجة غضب واسعة في مصر، تضمن عبارات اعتبرها كثيرون مسيئة لأهالي محافظة سوهاج وبعض ركاب إحدى الرحلات الجوية.
وبدأت الأزمة مع انتشار مقطع ظهرت فيه المضيفة وهي تتحدث عن رحلة إلى سوهاج، مستخدمة أوصافاً وعبارات أثارت استياء واسعاً على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، ما دفع أبناء المحافظة إلى المطالبة بمحاسبتها واتخاذ إجراءات قانونية بحقها.
بلاغ للنائب العام
وتصاعدت الأزمة بعدما أعلنت نقابة محامي سوهاج تقدمها ببلاغ إلى النائب العام، طالبت فيه باتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة، معتبرة أن ما ورد في الفيديو يمثل إساءة لأبناء المحافظة، إلى جانب احتوائه على عبارات وصفتها بأنها خادشة للحياء العام ومخالفة لقيم المجتمع.
نفي ثم توضيح
وفي خضم الجدل، نفت شركة مصر للطيران وجود أي صلة لها بصاحبة الفيديو، مؤكدة أنها لا تعمل لديها، وذلك بعد تداول منشورات نسبت المضيفة إلى الشركة.
وبعد ساعات، أصدرت «إير كايرو» بياناً أكدت فيه أن المضيفة من العاملات لديها، موضحة أنها تحققت من صحة الفيديو فور تداوله.
إيقاف وتحقيق
وأعلنت الشركة إيقاف المضيفة عن العمل وإحالتها إلى التحقيق حتى استكمال الإجراءات القانونية والإدارية، مؤكدة أن ما صدر عنها يمثل تصرفاً شخصياً تتحمل مسؤوليته، ولا يعبر عن قيم أو مبادئ الشركة.

The crisis began with the spread of a clip in which the attendant spoke about a flight to Sohag, using descriptions and phrases that provoked widespread discontent on social media, prompting the residents of the governorate to demand accountability and legal action against her.
Complaint to the Public Prosecutor
The crisis escalated after the Sohag Bar Association announced that it had filed a complaint with the Public Prosecutor, requesting the necessary legal actions, considering that what was stated in the video represents an insult to the residents of the governorate, in addition to containing phrases that it described as offensive to public morals and contrary to societal values.
Denial and Clarification
Amid the controversy, EgyptAir denied any connection to the owner of the video, confirming that she does not work for them, after posts attributed the attendant to the company.
Hours later, "Air Cairo" issued a statement confirming that the attendant is one of their employees, clarifying that they verified the authenticity of the video as soon as it circulated.
Suspension and Investigation
The company announced the suspension of the attendant from work and her referral for investigation until the completion of legal and administrative procedures, affirming that her actions represent a personal conduct for which she is responsible and do not reflect the values or principles of the company.
