رفع طلال بن فؤاد الحمود الشكر لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود بمناسبة صدور الأمر الملكي بتعيينه نائباً لمحافظ البنك المركزي السعودي للشؤون الفنية بالمرتبة الممتازة. وأعرب عن تقديره لهذه الثقة الكريمة من القيادة الرشيدة، سائلاً الله أن يعينه عليها وأن يكرّس جهوده لخدمة دينه ومليكه ووطنه. يذكر أن طلال الحمود حاصل على شهادة البكالوريوس في الاقتصاد من جامعة كولومبيا البريطانية، وشهادة البكالوريوس في إدارة الأعمال من جامعة سايمون فريزر في كندا. وسبق له تولي منصب مساعد محافظ البنك المركزي السعودي (ساما) للشؤون النقدية منذ شهر فبراير من عام 2024، وذلك بعد تعيينه على منصب وكيل المحافظ للاستثمار من عام 2022 حتى 2024، بعدما كان مديراً لإدارة الاحتياطيات في البنك المركزي من عام 2017 حتى 2022، ومدير شعبة الدخل الثابت الخارجي من عام 2013 حتى 2017، ومدير شعبة الدخل الثابت والبدائل المكلف من عام 2011 حتى 2013، والتحق بالبنك المركزي كمحلل استثمار في عام 2009، فيما يشغل عضوية مجلس إدارة الصندوق السعودي للتنمية، إلى جانب رئاسة وعضوية عدد من لجان البنك المركزي.

Talal bin Fuad Al-Hamoud expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on the occasion of the royal decree appointing him as the Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank for Technical Affairs at the excellent rank. He expressed his appreciation for this generous trust from the wise leadership, asking God to assist him in this role and to dedicate his efforts to serving his religion, his king, and his country. It is worth mentioning that Talal Al-Hamoud holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of British Columbia and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Simon Fraser University in Canada. He previously held the position of Assistant Governor of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) for Monetary Affairs since February 2024, after being appointed as the Deputy Governor for Investment from 2022 to 2024. He had also served as the Director of the Reserves Department at the Central Bank from 2017 to 2022, the Director of the External Fixed Income Division from 2013 to 2017, and the Acting Director of the Fixed Income and Alternatives Division from 2011 to 2013. He joined the Central Bank as an Investment Analyst in 2009 and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Fund for Development, in addition to chairing and being a member of several committees at the Central Bank.
