استقبل نائب أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة الأمير سعود بن مشعل بن عبدالعزيز، في مقر الإمارة، محافظ الهيئة السعودية للمواصفات والمقاييس والجودة الدكتور سعد عثمان القصبي.
واطلع الأمير سعود على جهود الهيئة ورؤيتها في تطوير منظومة المواصفات والمقاييس والجودة، ورفع مستوى التقييس وتعزيز البنية التحتية للجودة، بما يسهم في دعم التنمية الاقتصادية وتحفيز التنافسية.
كما جرى استعراض أعمال الهيئة في تعزيز سلامة المنتجات، ومناقشة مؤشر مطابقة السلع والخدمات المتداولة في المنطقة لمتطلبات المواصفات القياسية واللوائح الفنية، إضافة إلى سبل رفع جودة الخدمات وحماية حقوق المستهلكين.
The Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, received the Governor of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, Dr. Saad Othman Al-Qasabi, at the emirate's headquarters.
Prince Saud was briefed on the organization's efforts and vision in developing the system of standards, metrology, and quality, enhancing the level of standardization, and strengthening the quality infrastructure, which contributes to supporting economic development and stimulating competitiveness.
The organization's work in enhancing product safety was also reviewed, and discussions were held regarding the compliance index of goods and services traded in the region with the requirements of standard specifications and technical regulations, in addition to ways to improve service quality and protect consumer rights.
