تستعرض الهيئة السعودية للمياه، خلال مشاركتها في أعمال أسبوع المياه السعودي، 18 فرصة استثمارية واعدة لتوطين الصناعات والخدمات المرتبطة بقطاع المياه، مدعومة بطلب متوقع يتجاوز 15 مليار ريال خلال السنوات الخمس القادمة، بما يسهم في تعزيز المحتوى المحلي، وتطوير سلاسل الإمداد الوطنية، ورفع تنافسية القطاع، وتحفيز الاستثمار؛ دعمًا لمستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
وتشمل الفرص الاستثمارية مجالات واعدة في الصناعات والخدمات المساندة لقطاع المياه، بمتوسط عائد استثماري متوقع يصل إلى 12%، ومستهدفات تصديرية لعدد من الصناعات تتراوح بين 30% و50%، بما يسهم في توطين التقنيات المتقدمة، وتعزيز القدرات الوطنية، وتمكين المصانع الوطنية من التوسع في الأسواق المحلية والعالمية.
وتأتي هذه الفرص ضمن جهود الهيئة لبناء منظومة متكاملة للمحتوى المحلي في قطاع المياه، عبر تحفيز الاستثمارات النوعية، وتوسيع قاعدة الموردين والمصنعين الوطنيين، ورفع مساهمة الصناعات والخدمات المحلية في المشاريع المائية المستقبلية.
وأوضحت الهيئة أن هذه الفرص تمثل ممكنًا رئيسيًا لتطوير القاعدة الصناعية والخدمية لقطاع المياه، من خلال نقل المعرفة والتقنيات المتقدمة، وتمكين المصانع الوطنية، وتعزيز موثوقية سلاسل الإمداد، وخلق وظائف نوعية للكفاءات الوطنية، بما يرفع تنافسية المنتجات والخدمات الوطنية ويعزز استدامة القطاع.
وتستعرض الهيئة خلال مشاركتها في أسبوع المياه السعودي رؤيتها لمستقبل قطاع المياه عبر 6 جلسات حوارية، و3 عروض رئيسية، و3 ورش عمل متخصصة، تتناول تنظيم قطاع المياه والأمن المائي، والاستثمار وتوطين سلاسل الإمداد، والابتكار والتحول الرقمي، واستدامة الموارد المائية، وأحدث الحلول والتقنيات الداعمة لرفع الكفاءة التشغيلية واستدامة الخدمات.
كما تتضمن مشاركة الهيئة توقيع 8 اتفاقيات ومذكرات تفاهم مع جهات حكومية وأكاديمية وبحثية وشركات متخصصة، بما يعزز منظومة البحث والتطوير والابتكار، ويدعم نقل المعرفة وتطوير التقنيات المائية، ويسهم في بناء القدرات الوطنية، وتوسيع الشراكات النوعية في قطاع المياه.
ويقدم جناح الهيئة تجربة معرفية وتفاعلية تستعرض أبرز مبادراتها وبرامجها الإستراتيجية، وجهودها في تنظيم القطاع وتعزيز الأمن المائي، ومبادرات مركز الابتكار السعودي للمياه، ومعهد ابتكار تقنيات المياه والأبحاث المتقدمة، وأكاديمية المياه.
وتؤكد الهيئة السعودية للمياه أن الاستثمار وتوطين الصناعات والخدمات في قطاع المياه يمثلان ركيزتين أساسيتين لتعزيز استدامة القطاع ورفع جاهزيته المستقبلية، بما يعزز مكانة المملكة مركزًا عالميًا للمعرفة والابتكار والاستثمار في قطاع المياه.
The Saudi Water Authority, during its participation in the Saudi Water Week, is showcasing 18 promising investment opportunities to localize industries and services related to the water sector, supported by expected demand exceeding 15 billion riyals over the next five years. This contributes to enhancing local content, developing national supply chains, increasing the sector's competitiveness, and stimulating investment; in support of the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
The investment opportunities include promising areas in industries and supporting services for the water sector, with an expected average return on investment reaching 12%, and export targets for several industries ranging between 30% and 50%, contributing to the localization of advanced technologies, enhancing national capabilities, and enabling national factories to expand in local and global markets.
These opportunities come as part of the Authority's efforts to build an integrated system for local content in the water sector, by stimulating quality investments, expanding the base of national suppliers and manufacturers, and increasing the contribution of local industries and services in future water projects.
The Authority clarified that these opportunities represent a key enabler for developing the industrial and service base of the water sector, through knowledge transfer and advanced technologies, empowering national factories, enhancing the reliability of supply chains, and creating quality jobs for national competencies, which raises the competitiveness of national products and services and enhances the sustainability of the sector.
During its participation in Saudi Water Week, the Authority will present its vision for the future of the water sector through 6 panel discussions, 3 keynote presentations, and 3 specialized workshops, addressing the organization of the water sector and water security, investment and localization of supply chains, innovation and digital transformation, sustainability of water resources, and the latest solutions and technologies that support operational efficiency and sustainability of services.
The Authority's participation also includes signing 8 agreements and memorandums of understanding with governmental, academic, research entities, and specialized companies, enhancing the research, development, and innovation ecosystem, supporting knowledge transfer and the development of water technologies, and contributing to building national capacities and expanding quality partnerships in the water sector.
The Authority's pavilion offers an interactive and informative experience showcasing its key initiatives and strategic programs, its efforts in organizing the sector and enhancing water security, initiatives from the Saudi Innovation Center for Water, the Institute for Water Technology Innovation and Advanced Research, and the Water Academy.
The Saudi Water Authority emphasizes that investment and localization of industries and services in the water sector are two fundamental pillars for enhancing the sustainability of the sector and increasing its future readiness, thereby strengthening the Kingdom's position as a global center for knowledge, innovation, and investment in the water sector.
