تلقى وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، اتصالًا هاتفيًا من وزير خارجية الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية عباس عراقجي، جرى خلاله بحث مستجدات الأوضاع الإقليمية والجهود المبذولة لتعزيز الأمن والاستقرار.
وفي مستهل الاتصال، رحّب وزير الخارجية بتوصل إيران والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية إلى اتفاق لإنهاء العمليات العسكرية والبدء في مفاوضات تفصيلية تهدف إلى التوصل لاتفاق دائم، مؤكدًا تطلع المملكة إلى أن يسهم ذلك في ترسيخ السلام وتعزيز أمن المنطقة والعالم.
كما شدّد الجانبان على أهمية مواصلة الجهود المشتركة والعمل الدبلوماسي لتحقيق استقرار دائم ومستدام في المنطقة.
Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received a phone call from the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Abbas Araghchi, during which they discussed the latest developments in the regional situation and the efforts being made to enhance security and stability.
At the beginning of the call, the Foreign Minister welcomed the agreement reached between Iran and the United States of America to end military operations and begin detailed negotiations aimed at reaching a permanent agreement, emphasizing the Kingdom's hope that this will contribute to establishing peace and enhancing the security of the region and the world.
Both sides also stressed the importance of continuing joint efforts and diplomatic work to achieve lasting and sustainable stability in the region.
