شاركت مدينة الطائف، بصفتها مدينةً للأدب ضمن شبكة اليونسكو للمدن المبدعة، في الاجتماع السنوي لمدن الأدب، الذي يُقام بمدينة تارتو ومثَّل مدينة الطائف في هذه المشاركة الوكيل المساعد للاستثمار في أمانة الطائف المهندس أحمد جميل حيدر، وممثَّل هيئة الأدب والنشر والترجمة عبدالعزيز المشاري.
ويُعد الاجتماع السنوي لمدن الأدب منصة دولية تجمع مدن الأدب من مختلف دول العالم؛ بهدف تبادل الخبرات، ومناقشة المشاريع المشتركة، واستعراض أفضل الممارسات في تطوير القطاع الأدبي وتعزيز حضوره في الفضاء العام.
جلسات متخصصة
وتضمّن برنامج الاجتماع جلسات داخلية متخصصة، وجلسات لعرض أفضل الممارسات، إضافةً إلى زيارات ميدانية لعدد من المؤسسات الثقافية بمدينة تارتو، مثل: المتحف الأدبي الإستوني، ومكتبة جامعة تارتو، والمكتبة العامة، إلى جانب برامج ثقافية واجتماعات مع ممثلي الجهات الثقافية المحلية.
وخلال المشاركة، اطّلع وفد مدينة الطائف على عدد من التجارب الدولية المميزة في تفعيل الأدب داخل المدن، كما استعرض تجربة «الشريك الأدبي» بوصفها نموذجاً للشراكات المحلية الفاعلة، التي تسهم في تمكين الجهات المجتمعية من تصميم وتنفيذ المبادرات الأدبية، وتوسيع نطاق الوصول إلى مختلف فئات المجتمع.
وتأتي هذه المشاركة في إطار جهود مدينة الطائف لتعزيز حضورها ضمن شبكة المدن المبدعة، وبناء شراكات ثقافية دولية تسهم في تطوير القطاع الأدبي محليّاً، وإبراز الهوية الأدبية للمدينة على المستوى العالمي.
The city of Taif, as a city of literature within UNESCO's Creative Cities Network, participated in the annual meeting of literary cities, held in the city of Tartu. The Assistant Undersecretary for Investment at the Taif Municipality, Engineer Ahmed Jamil Haider, and the representative of the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission, Abdulaziz Al-Mushari, represented the city of Taif in this participation.
The annual meeting of literary cities is an international platform that brings together literary cities from various countries around the world to exchange experiences, discuss joint projects, and showcase best practices in developing the literary sector and enhancing its presence in the public sphere.
Specialized Sessions
The program of the meeting included specialized internal sessions, sessions to showcase best practices, as well as field visits to several cultural institutions in the city of Tartu, such as the Estonian Literary Museum, the University of Tartu Library, and the public library, in addition to cultural programs and meetings with representatives of local cultural entities.
During the participation, the delegation from the city of Taif learned about several distinguished international experiences in activating literature within cities. They also reviewed the "Literary Partner" experience as a model for effective local partnerships that contribute to empowering community entities to design and implement literary initiatives and expand access to various segments of society.
This participation comes as part of the efforts of the city of Taif to enhance its presence within the Creative Cities Network and to build international cultural partnerships that contribute to the development of the literary sector locally and to highlight the literary identity of the city on a global level.
