رحّبت المملكة العربية السعودية بإعلان رئيس الولايات المتحدة دونالد ترمب وقف إطلاق النار في لبنان، في خطوة تُمهّد لاحتواء التصعيد وفتح نافذة للاستقرار في البلد الشقيق.
إشادة بالدور اللبناني الرسمي
وأعربت وزارة الخارجية عن تقديرها للدور الإيجابي الذي اضطلع به الرئيس اللبناني العماد جوزاف عون، والحكومة برئاسة نواف سلام، ورئيس البرلمان نبيه بري، في الدفع نحو التهدئة وتغليب مصلحة لبنان العليا.
ثوابت الرياض: سيادة الدولة وحصر السلاح
وجددت المملكة تأكيد موقفها الداعم للدولة اللبنانية في بسط سيادتها الكاملة على أراضيها، وحصر السلاح بيد مؤسساتها الشرعية، بما يعزز الاستقرار ويعيد الاعتبار لهيبة الدولة.
دعم الإصلاح وحماية المقدرات
وأكدت الرياض مساندتها للخطوات الإصلاحية التي تنتهجها الحكومة اللبنانية، وحرصها على دعم كل ما من شأنه الحفاظ على مقدرات لبنان وصون وحدة أراضيه، بما يحقق الأمن والتنمية للشعب اللبناني.
