أعلنت الشركة العامة للخطوط الجوية العراقية، اليوم، بدء تنفيذ رحلات خاصة لإجلاء المواطنين العراقيين العالقين في الخارج.
ويأتي قرار الشركة، في ظل تصاعد التوترات في المنطقة نتيجة الحرب الأمريكية الإسرائيلية على إيران.
جسر جوي استثنائي
وذكرت الخطوط العراقية في بيانها اليوم، أن إحدى طائرات الناقل الوطني انطلقت من مطار أنقرة إسنبوغا الدولي متجهة إلى مطار القاهرة الدولي، بهدف نقل المسافرين العراقيين العالقين في مصر.
وأوضحت أن المواطنين سيتم نقلهم جواً إلى مطار عرعر شمال المملكة العربية السعودية، ضمن جسر جوي استثنائي يهدف إلى إعادتهم بأسرع وقت ممكن.
وبعد وصولهم إلى عرعر، سيجري نقلهم براً عبر منفذ عرعر الحدودي إلى داخل الأراضي العراقية، في إطار تنسيق لوجستي وإنساني مشترك لضمان عودة المواطنين بأمان، وفقاً لما نقلته وكالة الأنباء العراقية (واع).

This decision comes amid escalating tensions in the region due to the American-Israeli war on Iran.
Exceptional Air Bridge
The Iraqi Airways stated in its announcement today that one of the national carrier's planes took off from Ankara Esenboğa Airport heading to Cairo International Airport, with the aim of transporting Iraqi travelers stranded in Egypt.
It clarified that the citizens will be flown to Arar Airport in northern Saudi Arabia, as part of an exceptional air bridge aimed at returning them as quickly as possible.
After their arrival in Arar, they will be transported by land through the Arar border crossing into Iraqi territory, as part of a joint logistical and humanitarian coordination to ensure the safe return of the citizens, according to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
