حددت المنصة الوطنية للقبول الموحّد «قبول» مسارات ابتعاث الجامعات الدولية، و خطوات التقديم لها عبر المنصة. وأشارت إلى أن مسار ابتعاث الجامعات الدولية أحد الخيارات المتاحة للطلبة الراغبين في الالتحاق ببرنامج خادم الحرمين الشريفين للابتعاث الخارجي،
ويتضمن عدداً من المسارات النوعية أبرزها: مسار الروّاد: ويستهدف الابتعاث إلى الجامعات العالمية المتميزة وفق تصنيفات دولية معتمدة، مسار التميّز ويُعنى بابتعاث الطلبة إلى جامعات عالمية رائدة في تخصصات نوعية تدعم مستهدفات التنمية الوطنية، مسار البحث والتطوير ويهدف إلى دعم البحث العلمي والابتكار من خلال ابتعاث الطلبة إلى جامعات رائدة بحثياً، و مسار إمداد ويُركّز على تلبية احتياجات سوق العمل الوطني عبر ابتعاث الطلبة في تخصصات نوعية إلى جامعات معتمدة، بما يحقق المواءمة بين المخرجات التعليمية والمتطلبات التنموية، وكذا مسار التخصصات الصحية ويستهدف ابتعاث الكوادر الوطنية لدراسة التخصصات الصحية والطبية وفق احتياجات القطاع الصحي
وكشفت المنصة أن خطوات التقديم تبدأ بفع خطاب القبول، مراجعة وتأكيد بيانات القبول، تقديم المستندات المطلوبة، الموافقة على الإقرارات، ثم إرسال الطلب.
وبيّنت «قبول» أنه بعد استكمال التقديم، يتولي النظام تلقائياً تحديد المسار الأنسب لمؤهلات المتقدم وفق شروط القبول. وفي حال عدم توفر مقعد في المسار المحدد خلال فترة التقييم، يتم ترشيح المتقدم تلقائياً لمسار آخر مناسب لزيادة فرص قبوله، مع مراعاة التنافس بين المتقدمين وآلية المفاضلة وعدد المقاعد المتاحة.
The National Unified Admission Platform "Qabul" has defined the pathways for international university scholarships and the steps for applying through the platform. It indicated that the international university scholarship pathway is one of the options available for students wishing to join the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program for studying abroad,
which includes several specialized pathways, the most prominent of which are: the Pioneers Pathway: targeting scholarships to distinguished global universities according to accredited international rankings, the Excellence Pathway which focuses on sending students to leading global universities in specialized fields that support national development goals, the Research and Development Pathway aimed at supporting scientific research and innovation by sending students to research-leading universities, and the Supply Pathway which focuses on meeting the needs of the national labor market by sending students in specialized fields to accredited universities, achieving alignment between educational outcomes and developmental requirements, as well as the Health Specializations Pathway which targets sending national cadres to study health and medical specializations according to the needs of the health sector.
The platform revealed that the application steps begin with activating the acceptance letter, reviewing and confirming acceptance data, submitting the required documents, agreeing to the declarations, and then sending the application.
Qabul clarified that after completing the application, the system automatically determines the most suitable pathway for the applicant's qualifications according to the admission criteria. If there is no seat available in the specified pathway during the evaluation period, the applicant is automatically nominated for another suitable pathway to increase their chances of acceptance, taking into account the competition among applicants, the selection mechanism, and the number of available seats.
