توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس لهذا اليوم (الخميس)، استمرار تأثير الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من مناطق الجوف، الحدود الشمالية، حائل، المدينة المنورة، مكة المكرمة، الرياض، ونجران، كذلك على الأجزاء الشرقية من منطقتي عسير، والباحة. في حين لايستبعد هطول أمطار خفيفة وتكون الضباب على أجزاء من المرتفعات الجنوبية الغربية للمملكة.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن الرياح السطحيه على البحر الأحمر شمالية غربية إلى شمالية بسرعة 25-50 كم/ساعة على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط وشمالية غربية تتحول مساءً إلى جنوبية شرقية بسرعة 12-38كم/ساعة على الجزء الجنوبي، وارتفاع الموج من متر ونصف إلى مترين ونصف على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط ومن نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف على الجزء الجنوبي، وحالة البحر متوسط الموج إلى مائج على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط وخفيف إلى متوسط الموج على الجزء الجنوبي.
وفي الخليج العربي، شمالية غربية بسرعة 12-32 كم/ساعة على الجزء الشمالي وشمالية غربية إلى جنوبية غربية بسرعة 20-40كم/ساعة على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف على الجزء الشمالي ومن متر إلى مترين على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج على الجزء الشمالي ومتوسط الموج على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report for today (Thursday) that the effects of active winds stirring up dust and sand will continue over parts of the Al-Jawf, Northern Borders, Ha'il, Medina, Makkah, Riyadh, and Najran regions, as well as over the eastern parts of the Asir and Al-Baha regions. Light rain and fog are also possible in parts of the southwestern highlands of the Kingdom.
The report indicated that surface winds over the Red Sea are northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 25-50 km/h in the northern and central parts, shifting to southeasterly in the evening at a speed of 12-38 km/h in the southern part. Wave heights will range from one and a half to two and a half meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the southern part, with the sea condition being moderate to rough in the northern and central parts and light to moderate in the southern part.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly at a speed of 12-32 km/h in the northern part and northwesterly to southwesterly at a speed of 20-40 km/h in the central and southern parts. Wave heights will range from half a meter to one and a half meters in the northern part and from one to two meters in the central and southern parts, with the sea condition being light to moderate in the northern part and moderate in the central and southern parts.
