انتهى موسم الصيد في السعودية للموسم الحالي بنهاية يوم ٣١ يناير ٢٠٢٦م الموافق 12 شعبان 1447هـ طبقا لمركز تنمية الحياة الفطرية.
وشهد موسم الصيد الحالي الذي انطلق في مطلع سبتمبر من العام الماضي نجاحًا متميزًا انعكس في تطور في آليات التنظيم، وتحديث التنظيم مع مراعاة الاستخدام المستدام للموارد الطبيعية، وبمشاركة خبراء في مجال الصيد، وبالاستناد على أبحاث وبيانات ودراسة لأفضل المعايير والممارسات العالمية، كما استند إلى تقييم تجربة مواسم الصيد للأعوام الماضية، وشهد الموسم ارتفاعًا ملحوظًا في الوعي البيئي والتزام الصيادين بالأنظمة واللوائح.
وقال الرئيس التنفيذي لتنمية الحياة الفطرية الدكتور محمد علي قربانإن تجربة المملكة في تنظيم الصيد تحظى بتقدير دولي، تُوج بحصول المملكة على جائزة الريادة للأنواع المهاجرة، نظير دورها في دعم وقيادة المبادرات المعنية بمعالجة الصيد والأخذ والاتجار غير النظامي، وجهودها في مكافحة الصيد غير القانوني للطيور في جنوب غرب آسيا.
The hunting season in Saudi Arabia for the current season ended on January 31, 2026, corresponding to 12 Sha'ban 1447 AH, according to the Center for Wildlife Development.
The current hunting season, which began in early September of last year, witnessed remarkable success reflected in the development of organizational mechanisms, updating regulations while considering the sustainable use of natural resources, with the participation of experts in the field of hunting, and based on research, data, and studies of the best global standards and practices. It also relied on evaluating the experiences of previous hunting seasons, and there was a noticeable increase in environmental awareness and the commitment of hunters to the rules and regulations.
The CEO of the Wildlife Development, Dr. Mohammed Ali Qurban, stated that the Kingdom's experience in organizing hunting is internationally recognized, culminating in the Kingdom receiving the Leadership Award for Migratory Species, in recognition of its role in supporting and leading initiatives related to addressing illegal hunting and trafficking, as well as its efforts in combating illegal bird hunting in South Asia.
