تتجه سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي إلى الإغلاق الكامل للضفة الغربية المحتلة، بعد أن أمر رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو بفرض طوقاً فورياً على مدينة الخليل، عقب الإعلان عن إصابة 4 إسرائيليين في حادثة إطلاق نار وقتل فلسطينيين قال الجيش إنهما نفذا الهجوم.
وذكر مكتب رئيس وزراء الاحتلال في بيان، أن نتنياهو أنهى تقييماً للوضع مع وزير الدفاع، ورئيس الأركان، ورئيس الشاباك، ورئيس مجلس الأمن القومي، وقائد القيادة الوسطى.
واعتبر أن القوات الإسرائيلية تصرفت بحزم ومنعت هجوماً كبيراً، مضيفاً أنه أصدر تعليمات للجيش وقوات الأمن بفرض طوقاً فورياً على مدينة الخليل، والاستعداد لإغلاقاً كاملاً على الضفة الغربية بأكملها اعتباراً من (الجمعة). وذكر نتنياهو أن القوات الإسرائيلية «تنفّذ موجات اعتقال واسعة النطاق».
وأفادت هيئة الإسعاف الإسرائيلية (نجمة داود الحمراء) بأن 4 إسرائيليين أصيبوا، بينهم اثنان في حالة حرجة، في إطلاق نار بمنطقة الخليل جنوبي الضفة الغربية.
وأعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي أنه قتل 2 بعد الهجوم، ونشر قوات كبيرة في المنطقة وقام بنصب حواجز على الطرق، بالتزامن مع عمليات دهم وتفتيش في المنطقة.
وفرض الجيش الإسرائيلي حظراً للتجول على عدة قرى في منطقة الخليل بعد واقعة إطلاق النار، بحسب موقع «واي نت».
وذكرت وكالة الأنباء الفلسطينية (وفا) أن قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي أطلقت، (الجمعة)، الرصاص الحي باتجاه شابين عند المدخل الشمالي لمدينة الخليل.
ونقلت عن شهود عيان قولهم: «إن قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي الموجودة على الحاجز العسكري عند المدخل الشمالي لمدينة الخليل (فرش الهوى)، أطلقت الرصاص الحي باتجاه شابين، ما أدى إلى إصابتهما، وسقوطهما على الأرض»، مشيرة إلى أنباء أولية تفيد بأن الحادث أودى بحياتهما.
وأشارت إلى أن قوات كبيرة من جنود الاحتلال انتشرت في المكان، وأغلقت المنطقة بشكل كامل، ومنعت تحرك المواطنين.
The Israeli occupation authorities are heading towards a complete closure of the occupied West Bank, after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered an immediate lockdown on the city of Hebron, following the announcement of the injury of 4 Israelis in a shooting incident and the killing of Palestinians whom the army said carried out the attack.
The office of the occupation Prime Minister stated in a statement that Netanyahu concluded a situation assessment with the Minister of Defense, the Chief of Staff, the head of the Shin Bet, the head of the National Security Council, and the commander of the Central Command.
He considered that the Israeli forces acted decisively and prevented a major attack, adding that he instructed the army and security forces to impose an immediate lockdown on the city of Hebron and to prepare for a complete closure of the entire West Bank starting from (Friday). Netanyahu mentioned that the Israeli forces are "carrying out large-scale arrest waves."
The Israeli ambulance service (Magen David Adom) reported that 4 Israelis were injured, including two in critical condition, in a shooting in the Hebron area in the southern West Bank.
The Israeli army announced that it killed 2 after the attack, deployed large forces in the area, and set up roadblocks, coinciding with raids and searches in the region.
The Israeli army imposed a curfew on several villages in the Hebron area following the shooting incident, according to the "Ynet" website.
The Palestinian news agency (Wafa) reported that the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition at two young men at the northern entrance of the city of Hebron on (Friday).
It quoted eyewitnesses as saying: "The Israeli occupation forces at the military checkpoint at the northern entrance of the city of Hebron (Farsh al-Hawa) fired live ammunition at two young men, resulting in their injuries and them falling to the ground," noting initial reports indicating that the incident claimed their lives.
It pointed out that large forces of occupation soldiers spread in the area, completely closing it off and preventing the movement of citizens.
