لقي 16 شخصًا حتفهم وأُصيب 32 آخرون جراء زلزال بلغت قوته 7 درجات ضرب مساء الخميس محافظة باتشن، التابعة لمدينة ناغتشيوي في منطقة شيتسانغ ذاتية الحكم جنوب غربي الصين.
وأفادت السلطات بأن 11 مصابًا في حالة خطيرة، فيما تسبب الزلزال في انهيار أكثر من 300 منزل، وسط استمرار عمليات الإغاثة وتقييم حجم الأضرار في المناطق المتضررة.
Sixteen people have died and 32 others were injured due to a 7-magnitude earthquake that struck Thursday evening in the Bachin province, part of the Nagqu city in the autonomous region of Shitsang in southwestern China.
Authorities reported that 11 of the injured are in critical condition, while the earthquake caused the collapse of more than 300 homes, amid ongoing relief operations and assessments of the damage in the affected areas.
