تواصل عملية «فجر اليمن» ضد الحوثي ضرباتها لليوم الـ 14 على التوالي، في وقت شهدت جبهات القتال في محافظتي تعز ولحج مواجهات عنيفة بين القوات الحكومية والمليشيا الإرهابية، بالتزامن مع غارات جوية استهدفت مواقع وآليات عسكرية تابعة لها.
وفي جبهة كهبوب بمحافظة لحج، اندلعت اشتباكات عنيفة بين قوات «درع الوطن»، بمساندة قوات العمالقة الجنوبية، ومليشيات الحوثي، عقب محاولة عناصر حوثية التسلل باتجاه الجبهة انطلاقاً من مديرية الوازعية غربي محافظة تعز، وفقاً لمصادر ميدانية.
ونفت القوات الحكومية اليمنية صحة الأنباء التي تروج لها مليشيا الحوثي بشأن إحراز تقدم ميداني في جبال كهبوب بمحافظة لحج، مؤكدة عدم صحة تلك المزاعم، بالتزامن مع استمرار المواجهات على جبهات القتال في المنطقة.
وتجددت الاشتباكات في الجبهة الغربية لمدينة تعز، وفي جبهات المطار القديم وجبل هان وحدائق الصالح، حيث تصدت القوات الحكومية والمقاومة الشعبية لهجمات حوثية استهدفت مواقعها.
وفي جنوب تعز، شن الطيران الحربي غارات جوية على مواقع وآليات عسكرية للحوثيين في جبهة الشقب بجبل صبر، ونفذ الجيش اليمني والمقاومة الشعبية كميناً استهدف عناصر حوثية في منطقة المقضى، بجبهة الأقروض في مديرية المسراخ جنوبي المحافظة، ما أسفر عن مقتل وإصابة 12 عنصراً من مليشيا الحوثي.
وكان الطيران اليمني الحربي، شن مساء (السبت)، أكثر من 3 غارات جوية استهدفت مواقع للحوثيين في منطقة المخا، وأكدت مصادر عسكرية أن قصفاً جوياً استهدف شحنة أسلحة تابعة للمليشيات قبالة السواحل الشمالية لمدينة الخوخة، جنوبي محافظة الحديدة. وتأتي هذه التطورات في ظل استمرار عملية «فجر اليمن» التي أطلقتها القوات اليمنية قبل نحو أسبوعين، بهدف استعادة السيطرة على الأراضي اليمنية وبسط سلطة الدولة، وسط احتدام المواجهات على جبهات عدة، من تعز إلى مأرب والجوف، عقب التقدم الذي أحرزته القوات اليمنية على الساحل الغربي.
The "Yemen Dawn" operation against the Houthis continues its strikes for the 14th consecutive day, during which fierce clashes occurred on the battlefronts in the provinces of Taiz and Lahij between government forces and the terrorist militia, coinciding with airstrikes targeting their military sites and vehicles.
On the Khaboub front in Lahij province, intense clashes erupted between the "National Shield" forces, supported by the Southern Giants forces, and the Houthi militias, following an attempt by Houthi elements to infiltrate towards the front from the Al-Waziyah district in western Taiz province, according to field sources.
The Yemeni government forces denied the accuracy of the news promoted by the Houthi militia regarding achieving field progress in the Khaboub mountains in Lahij province, confirming that those claims are untrue, coinciding with the ongoing confrontations on the battlefronts in the area.
Clashes renewed on the western front of the city of Taiz, and in the old airport front, Mount Han, and Al-Salih Gardens, where government forces and popular resistance repelled Houthi attacks targeting their positions.
In southern Taiz, warplanes launched airstrikes on Houthi military sites and vehicles in the Shuqab front at Mount Saber, and the Yemeni army and popular resistance executed an ambush targeting Houthi elements in the Al-Maqdah area, on the Al-Aqroud front in the Al-Masraakh district in the south of the province, resulting in the deaths and injuries of 12 Houthi militia members.
The Yemeni warplanes carried out more than 3 airstrikes on Saturday evening targeting Houthi positions in the Al-Mokha area, and military sources confirmed that airstrikes targeted a shipment of weapons belonging to the militias off the northern coast of the city of Al-Khawkhah, south of Al-Hudaydah province. These developments come amid the ongoing "Yemen Dawn" operation launched by Yemeni forces about two weeks ago, aimed at regaining control over Yemeni territories and establishing state authority, amidst escalating confrontations on several fronts, from Taiz to Marib and Al-Jawf, following the progress made by Yemeni forces on the western coast.
