تستعد السعودية لاستضافة المؤتمر الوزاري الحادي عشر للدول الأقل نموًّا (LDCMC11)، الذي يُعقد في 22 نوفمبر الجاري تحت شعار «دفع التصنيع الشامل: الاستثمار والابتكار والشراكات في الدول الأقل نموًّا»، بتنظيم من منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتنمية الصناعية UNIDO، بالتعاون مع وزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية، في حدث استباقي للمؤتمر العام الحادي والعشرين للمنظمة الذي تستضيفه العاصمة الرياض.
ويعد المؤتمر حدثًا عالميًا بارزًا يناقش التنمية الصناعية في الدول الأقل نموًّا، ويؤكد على الالتزام العالمي بدعم 44 دولة في أفريقيا وآسيا والمحيط الهادئ والكاريبي؛ ويستهدف تيسير الوصول إلى التمويل، وتعزيز تبادل المعرفة والتقنيات، وتحفيز التجارة، وتوسيع اندماج الدول الأقل نموًّا في سلاسل القيمة الإقليمية والعالمية.
ويركّز المؤتمر على تحفيز التصنيع الشامل من خلال ثلاث ركائز رئيسية؛ تتمثل في الاستثمار والتمويل والابتكار، حيث يبحث المشاركون الآليات المالية المبتكرة لتعبئة رؤوس الأموال المحلية والدولية لدعم النمو الصناعي المستدام، مع تسليط الضوء على أدوار مؤسسات تمويل التنمية والبنوك المتعددة الأطراف، كما تتضمن أجندة المؤتمر مناقشة تصميم وتنفيذ سياسات صناعية مستقبلية تُسهم في تعزيز التنويع الاقتصادي، وتعظيم القيمة المضافة للصناعة، والارتقاء التكنولوجي في أقل البلدان نموًا.
وتنطلق أعمال المؤتمر بجلسة رفيعة المستوى تحت عنوان «الاتحاد من أجل التقدم بالابتكار»، تليها جلسة حوار وزارية تُناقش كيفية تعزيز البيئات التمكينية الجاذبة للاستثمارات المستدامة، وتنمية منظومات الابتكار، كما تستكشف الجلسة أوجه التكامل بين الأولويات الوطنية والفرص العالمية، مع التأكيد على أهمية التكامل الإقليمي، والشراكات بين القطاعين العام والخاص.
وتُؤكد السعودية من خلال استضافتها هذا المؤتمر دورها المتنامي بصفتها مركزًا عالميًا للتنمية الصناعية المستدامة، وأنها جسرٌ يربط بين الدول المتقدمة والنامية بما يعزز النمو الصناعي الشامل والمستدام، كما تواصل المملكة هذا الدور الريادي باستضافة المؤتمر العام الحادي والعشرين لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للتنمية الصناعية (يونيدو) في الرياض خلال الفترة من 23 إلى 27 نوفمبر 2025، بمشاركة ممثلين من 173 دولة عضوًا في المنظمة، إلى جانب قادة الحكومات والقطاع الخاص والمنظمات الدولية.
Saudi Arabia is preparing to host the 11th Ministerial Conference of the Least Developed Countries (LDCMC11), which will be held on November 22 under the theme "Driving Inclusive Manufacturing: Investment, Innovation, and Partnerships in Least Developed Countries," organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, as a precursor event to the 21st General Conference of the organization to be hosted in the capital, Riyadh.
The conference is a prominent global event that discusses industrial development in least developed countries and reaffirms the global commitment to support 44 countries in Africa, Asia, the Pacific, and the Caribbean. It aims to facilitate access to financing, enhance knowledge and technology exchange, stimulate trade, and expand the integration of least developed countries into regional and global value chains.
The conference focuses on stimulating inclusive manufacturing through three main pillars: investment, financing, and innovation. Participants will explore innovative financial mechanisms to mobilize local and international capital to support sustainable industrial growth, highlighting the roles of development finance institutions and multilateral banks. The conference agenda also includes discussions on designing and implementing future industrial policies that contribute to enhancing economic diversification, maximizing the added value of industry, and technological advancement in the least developed countries.
The conference will kick off with a high-level session titled "United for Progress through Innovation," followed by a ministerial dialogue session discussing how to enhance enabling environments that attract sustainable investments and develop innovation ecosystems. The session will also explore the integration between national priorities and global opportunities, emphasizing the importance of regional integration and partnerships between the public and private sectors.
Through hosting this conference, Saudi Arabia reaffirms its growing role as a global center for sustainable industrial development and as a bridge connecting developed and developing countries to enhance inclusive and sustainable industrial growth. The Kingdom continues this leadership role by hosting the 21st General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Riyadh from November 23 to 27, 2025, with the participation of representatives from 173 member countries of the organization, alongside leaders from governments, the private sector, and international organizations.
