شهرت وزارة التجارة بعامل لدى منشأة تموينات إثر صدور حكم قضائي يدينه بمخالفة نظام مكافحة الغش التجاري بحيازة وعرض وبيع منتجات غذائية منتهية الصلاحية.
وضبطت الفرق الرقابية للوزارة 36 منتج عصائر منتهية الصلاحية معروضة للبيع لدى المنشأة الواقعة بمحافظة الطائف، وبناء عليه تمت مصادرتها وإتلافها واتخاذ الإجراءات النظامية وفقاً لأحكام نظام مكافحة الغش التجاري.
غرامة مالية وإغلاق المنشأة
وتضمن الحكم الصادر من المحكمة الجزائية بالطائف فرض غرامة مالية قدرها 500 ريال، وإغلاق المنشأة المخالفة لمدة أسبوع، ونشر الحكم على نفقة المخالف.
وتؤكد «التجارة» التصدي لمخالفي نظام مكافحة الغش التجاري وتطبيق العقوبات النظامية ضدهم، حيث ينص النظام على فرض عقوبات تصل إلى السجن ثلاث سنوات، وغرامات مالية تصل إلى مليون ريال أو بهما معًا، والتشهير بالمخالفين.
The Ministry of Commerce has publicized a violator at a supply establishment following a court ruling convicting him of violating the Anti-Commercial Fraud Law by possessing, displaying, and selling expired food products.
The ministry's monitoring teams seized 36 expired juice products that were offered for sale at the establishment located in Taif Governorate. Consequently, these products were confiscated and destroyed, and legal actions were taken in accordance with the provisions of the Anti-Commercial Fraud Law.
Financial Penalty and Closure of the Establishment
The ruling issued by the Criminal Court in Taif included a financial penalty of 500 riyals and the closure of the violating establishment for one week, with the ruling to be published at the violator's expense.
The Ministry of Commerce reaffirms its commitment to confronting violators of the Anti-Commercial Fraud Law and applying legal penalties against them, as the law stipulates penalties of up to three years in prison, financial fines of up to one million riyals, or both, along with publicizing the violators.
