ويأتي ذلك على هامش اجتماع قادة مؤتمر ميونخ للأمن والمقام في العُلا.
كما اجتمع وزير الاقتصاد والتخطيط، مع وزير الخارجية البلغاري جورج جورجييف، وذلك على هامش اجتماع قادة مؤتمر ميونخ للأمن المقام في العُلا.
وناقش الاجتماع، مجالات التعاون الثنائي بين البلدين، وآخر التطورات الاقتصادية العالمية ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
ملفات عدة
وكانت أعمال اجتماع مؤتمر ميونخ للأمن، قد انطلقت بمدينة العلا، وتستمر على مدى يومين.
ويشارك في الاجتماعات التي تُعقد لأول مرة في السعودية أكثر من 70 شخصية من كبار المسؤولين الدوليين.
وانطلقت الجلسة الافتتاحية للمؤتمر تحت عنوان «البحث عن حل وسط: الشرق الأوسط في عالم متعدد الأقطاب».
وشارك في الجلسة الافتتاحية وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان، ونظيراه الأردني أيمن الصفدي، والمصري بدر عبد العاطي، إضافة إلى المبعوث الخاص للرئيس الفرنسي إلى لبنان جان إيف لو دريان.
وتناقش الاجتماعات عدداً من الملفات على مدى اليومين القادمين، تتناول التجارة العالمية، والأزمات الإقليمية، والتحول في مجال الطاقة.
استقرار المنطقة
كما تناقش الاجتماعات أمن طرق التجارة البحرية، وجهود تحقيق السلام والاستقرار في المنطقة والأمن النووي، فضلاً عن تعزيز التعاون الإقليمي والدولي في مجالات الطاقة والتعاون الاقتصادي.
ويشارك بالاجتماعات مسؤولون عرب وأوروبيون بينهم وزير الخارجية التركي هاكان فيدان، إضافة إلى وزير الخارجية السوري أسعد الشيباني، ونائب رئيس الوزراء الكويتي فهد سعود الصباح.
وتأسس مؤتمر ميونخ للأمن عام 1963، ويعد أكبر وأهم المؤتمرات التي تناقش السياسة الأمنية على مستوى العالم، ويستقبل في دورته السنوية بألمانيا المئات من القادة وصناع القرار من مختلف دول العالم.
The Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal bin Fadhel Al-Ibrahim, discussed with the Chairman of the Future of Europe Initiative and former Austrian Foreign Minister, Alexander Schallenberg, the latest developments in the global economy and topics of mutual interest.
This comes on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference held in Al-Ula.
The Minister of Economy and Planning also met with Bulgarian Foreign Minister Georgi Georgiev on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference held in Al-Ula.
The meeting discussed areas of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and the latest developments in the global economy of mutual interest.
Several Files
The Munich Security Conference began in the city of Al-Ula and will continue for two days.
More than 70 prominent international officials are participating in the meetings, which are being held for the first time in Saudi Arabia.
The opening session of the conference was launched under the title "Searching for a Compromise: The Middle East in a Multipolar World."
The opening session featured the participation of Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, along with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi, Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdel Aty, and the French President's Special Envoy to Lebanon, Jean-Yves Le Drian.
The meetings will discuss a number of files over the next two days, covering global trade, regional crises, and the energy transition.
Stability in the Region
The meetings will also discuss the security of maritime trade routes, efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region, nuclear security, as well as enhancing regional and international cooperation in the fields of energy and economic collaboration.
Arab and European officials are participating in the meetings, including Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shabani, and Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister Fahd Saud Al-Sabah.
The Munich Security Conference was established in 1963 and is considered the largest and most important conference discussing security policy worldwide, hosting hundreds of leaders and decision-makers from various countries during its annual session in Germany.
