شهد وزير الصناعة والثروة المعدنية، بندر بن إبراهيم الخريّف، توقيع 5 اتفاقيات استثمارية بين شركات سعودية وفيتنامية، وذلك خلال مشاركته في «ملتقى الأعمال السعودي-الفيتنامي» المنعقد في العاصمة الفيتنامية هانوي.
وركزت الاتفاقيات الخمس على بناء شراكات استثمارية بين الجانبين في عدد من المجالات؛ تشمل البناء والتشييد، وتنفيذ أعمال البنى التحتية، والصناعات المتطورة للأثاث، وتنفيذ برامج لتأهيل وتدريب الكوادر البشرية، إلى جانب اتفاقية في قطاع السياحة.
وأكد الخريّف في كلمته خلال الملتقى الذي عُقد بمقر غرفة التجارة والصناعة الفيتنامية، بتنظيم مشترك مع اتحاد الغرف السعودية، متانة العلاقات الاقتصادية بين البلدين الصديقين، والدور المحوري لمجلس الأعمال السعودي الفيتنامي في تعزيز الشراكات الاستثمارية، وتمكين القطاع الخاص من استغلال الفرص المتبادلة في مختلف القطاعات، وفي مقدمتها قطاعا الصناعة والتعدين.
استقطاب الاستثمارات
وأشار إلى حرص المملكة على استقطاب الاستثمارات الأجنبية النوعية في قطاعي الصناعة والتعدين، مستعرضاً أبرز الفرص الاستثمارية الواعدة التي يتيحها القطاعان، والممكنات والحوافز المقدمة من جهات منظومة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية لتسهيل رحلة المستثمرين الدوليين، ومنها الحلول التمويلية التي يقدمها صندوق التنمية الصناعية السعودي، وبنك التصدير والاستيراد السعودي.
ميزة تنافسية
ونوّه الخريّف، بسياسات المحتوى المحلي في المملكة، التي تدعم توطين الصناعات، وتمنح ميزة تنافسية للمُصنّعين المحليين في الاستفادة من فرص المشتريات الحكومية.
وفيما يتعلق بقطاع التعدين السعودي، استعرض الخريّف رحلة تطوّر وتحول القطاع الذي يُعد الركيزة الثالثة في الصناعة الوطنية وفقًا لمستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، كما أن إطلاق الإستراتيجية الشاملة للتعدين والصناعات المعدنية في عام 2017، وإطلاق برنامج المسح الجيولوجي العام، رفع تقديرات قيمة الثروات المعدنية بالمملكة من 1.3 تريليون دولار إلى 2.5 تريليون دولار.
منصة مهمة
وعُقد «ملتقى الأعمال السعودي-الفيتنامي» بحضور سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى جمهورية فيتنام الاشتراكية محمد دهلوي، والرئيس التنفيذي للمركز الوطني للتنمية الصناعية المهندس صالح السلمي، ورئيس مجلس الأعمال السعودي الفيتنامي أحمد الذييب، وعددٍ من المسؤولين الحكوميين وممثلي القطاع الخاص في البلدين، حيث وفّر منصة مهمة لمناقشة فرص التعاون في عددٍ من الصناعات المتقدمة، وفي مجالات البحث والابتكار، والذكاء الاصطناعي.
وتأتي مشاركة وزير الصناعة والثروة المعدنية في الملتقى ضمن زيارته الرسمية إلى جمهورية فيتنام الاشتراكية، التي تستهدف تعزيز العلاقات الاقتصادية بين البلدين، واستكشاف فرص التعاون الصناعي والتعديني، وجذب الاستثمارات النوعية إلى المملكة، بما يتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, witnessed the signing of 5 investment agreements between Saudi and Vietnamese companies during his participation in the "Saudi-Vietnamese Business Forum" held in the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi.
The five agreements focused on building investment partnerships between the two sides in several areas, including construction and building, infrastructure works, advanced furniture industries, implementing programs for qualifying and training human resources, in addition to an agreement in the tourism sector.
Al-Khorayef emphasized in his speech during the forum, which was held at the headquarters of the Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized jointly with the Federation of Saudi Chambers, the strength of economic relations between the two friendly countries, and the pivotal role of the Saudi-Vietnamese Business Council in enhancing investment partnerships and enabling the private sector to exploit mutual opportunities in various sectors, primarily in the industry and mining sectors.
Attracting Investments
He pointed out the Kingdom's keenness to attract high-quality foreign investments in the industrial and mining sectors, reviewing the most promising investment opportunities offered by the two sectors, as well as the enablers and incentives provided by the entities of the industrial and mineral resources system to facilitate the journey of international investors, including the financing solutions offered by the Saudi Industrial Development Fund and the Saudi Export-Import Bank.
Competitive Advantage
Al-Khorayef noted the local content policies in the Kingdom, which support the localization of industries and provide a competitive advantage for local manufacturers to benefit from government procurement opportunities.
Regarding the Saudi mining sector, Al-Khorayef reviewed the development and transformation journey of the sector, which is considered the third pillar of the national industry according to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. He also mentioned that the launch of the comprehensive strategy for mining and mineral industries in 2017 and the launch of the general geological survey program raised the estimated value of mineral wealth in the Kingdom from $1.3 trillion to $2.5 trillion.
Important Platform
The "Saudi-Vietnamese Business Forum" was held in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Mohammed Dahlawi, the CEO of the National Industrial Development Center, Engineer Saleh Al-Sulami, the Chairman of the Saudi-Vietnamese Business Council, Ahmed Al-Dhiyab, and a number of government officials and representatives of the private sector in both countries, providing an important platform to discuss cooperation opportunities in several advanced industries, as well as in research and innovation, and artificial intelligence.
The participation of the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources in the forum is part of his official visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, which aims to enhance economic relations between the two countries, explore opportunities for industrial and mining cooperation, and attract quality investments to the Kingdom, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
