تجاوز إجمالي كميات الشحن الصادرة والواردة عبر موانئ المملكة لعام 2024 (331) مليون طن، وبلغت الصادرات (222.4) مليون طن بارتفاع نسبته (9.3%) مقارنةً بعام 2023، فيما بلغت الواردات نحو (108.9) مليون طن بزيادة نسبتها (3.6%).
وبحسب نتائج النشرة التي أصدرتها الهيئة العامة للإحصاء اليوم، لإحصاءات النقل البحري لعام 2024، فقد جاء ميناء الملك فهد الصناعي في ينبع صدارة الموانئ من حيث صادرات المملكة بنسبة بلغت (51%) من إجمالي الصادرات، بينما تصدَّر ميناء الملك عبدالعزيز بالدمام الموانئ المستقبلة للواردات بكمية بلغت (38) مليون طن، أي ما يمثل نحو (35%) من إجمالي واردات المملكة.
وأوضحت النشرة، أن إجمالي البضائع المناولة في موانئ المملكة بلغ أكثر من (334) مليون طن، واستحوذ ميناء الملك فهد الصناعي في ينبع على النسبة الأكبر منها بواقع (39.7%)، فيما جاء ميناء الملك عبدالعزيز بالدمام أولًا في مناولة الحاويات القياسية بنسبة (51.1%)، وتصدرت البضائع السائبة السائلة قائمة البضائع المناولة بإجمالي تجاوز 177 مليون طن.
من جهة أخرى بيَّنت نتائج النشرة، أن إجمالي بضائع المسافنة بلغ أكثر من (21) مليون طن، توزعت بين (10.4) مليون طن مفرغة، و(11) مليون طن محملة، ونحو مليوني حاوية قياسية، كما بلغ عدد السفن القادمة لموانئ المملكة (8,693) سفينة، استحوذ ميناء جدة الإسلامي على النصيب الأكبر منها بعدد (3.805) سفن، يليه ميناء الملك عبدالعزيز بالدمام بـ(1.980) سفينة، ثم ميناء نيوم بـ(951) سفينة.
وأظهرت نتائج النشرة، أن إجمالي عدد الحاويات الصادرة والواردة بلغ أكثر من (2.5) مليون حاوية، منها (1.3) مليون حاوية صادرة، وأكثر من (1.2) مليون حاوية واردة، ومن ناحية حركة الركاب، أشارت النتائج إلى أن إجمالي عدد القادمين والمغادرين عبر الموانئ السعودية بلغ نحو (913) ألف راكب بانخفاض نسبته (19.6%) عن عام 2023، وتصدر ميناء جازان قائمة الموانئ في حركة الركاب بأكثر من (485) ألف راكب.
يُذكر أن نشرة إحصاءات النقل البحري هي نشرة سنوية تهدف إلى توفير قاعدة بيانات شاملة وموثوقة حول حركة الركاب القادمين والمغادرين عبر الموانئ السعودية، وحجم البضائع المفرغة والمحملة، وحركة السفن، وتستند النشرة إلى بيانات السجلات الإدارية من الهيئة العامة للموانئ، وهيئة المدن والمناطق الاقتصادية الخاصة، وشركة نيوم، والهيئة الملكية للجبيل وينبع.
The total quantities of exported and imported shipments through the Kingdom's ports for the year 2024 exceeded (331) million tons, with exports reaching (222.4) million tons, an increase of (9.3%) compared to 2023, while imports amounted to approximately (108.9) million tons, an increase of (3.6%).
According to the results of the bulletin issued today by the General Authority for Statistics, regarding maritime transport statistics for 2024, King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu ranked first among the ports in terms of the Kingdom's exports, accounting for (51%) of total exports, while King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam topped the ports receiving imports with a quantity of (38) million tons, representing about (35%) of the Kingdom's total imports.
The bulletin indicated that the total cargo handled in the Kingdom's ports exceeded (334) million tons, with King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu holding the largest share at (39.7%). Meanwhile, King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam ranked first in handling standard containers with a percentage of (51.1%), and bulk liquid goods topped the list of handled goods with a total exceeding 177 million tons.
On another note, the bulletin's results showed that the total transshipment cargo amounted to more than (21) million tons, distributed between (10.4) million tons unloaded and (11) million tons loaded, along with nearly two million standard containers. The number of ships arriving at the Kingdom's ports reached (8,693) vessels, with Jeddah Islamic Port taking the largest share at (3,805) ships, followed by King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam with (1,980) ships, and then Neom Port with (951) ships.
The results of the bulletin revealed that the total number of exported and imported containers exceeded (2.5) million containers, including (1.3) million containers exported and more than (1.2) million containers imported. Regarding passenger movement, the results indicated that the total number of arrivals and departures through Saudi ports reached approximately (913) thousand passengers, a decrease of (19.6%) compared to 2023, with Jazan Port leading the list of ports in passenger movement with more than (485) thousand passengers.
It is worth mentioning that the Maritime Transport Statistics Bulletin is an annual publication aimed at providing a comprehensive and reliable database on the movement of arriving and departing passengers through Saudi ports, the volume of unloaded and loaded goods, and ship movements. The bulletin is based on data from administrative records from the General Authority for Ports, the Authority for Special Economic Cities and Zones, Neom Company, and the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.
