نظَّم اتحاد الغرف السعودية، ملتقى الأعمال السعودي الإستوني، بحضور وزير خارجية جمهورية إستونيا مارجوس تساكنا، ورئيس اتحاد الغرف السعودية حسن الحويزي، وسفيرة إستونيا لدى المملكة ماريا بيلوفاس، بمشاركة أكثر من 80 مستثمراً؛ لبحث سبل تعزيز التعاون التجاري والاستثماري بين البلدين.
وضم الوفد الإستوني هيئات وشركات تعمل في مجالات عدة منها تطوير وتنمية التجارة الدولية لإستونيا، والاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات، والطاقة، والتعليم، والرعاية الصحية، والمقاولات.
ونوَّه وزير الخارجية الإستوني بالتحولات الإيجابية التي تشهدها بلاده في الجوانب الاقتصادية وبيئة الأعمال التجارية والمحفزات التي تقدمها للمستثمرين، داعياً أصحاب الأعمال السعوديين لزيارة إستونيا والاطّلاع على الفرص الاستثمارية في العديد من القطاعات.
وأكَّد اهتمام بلاده بالتقنية والتحول الرقمي ورغبتهم مشاركة خبراتهم في هذه المجالات مع المملكة، واستكشاف الفرص بالسوق السعودية، مشيراً إلى القدرات والإمكانات التي تتمتع بها إستونيا في مجالات الإبداع والابتكار والدور الفاعل للقطاع الخاص، واهتمامها بالاستثمار في العنصر البشري، والأمن السيبراني والتعليم والشركات الناشئة.
تنشيط التجارة
من جهته أكَّد رئيس اتحاد الغرف السعودية حسن الحويزي، حرص المملكة بتوطيد علاقاتها مع إستونيا التي تعد منفذاً لتنشيط التجارة الدولية مع دول البلطيق وشرق أوروبا، ومن الدول الرائدة في مجال التحوّل الرقمي والخدمات الحكومية الإلكترونية.
وأفاد أن تحسين مسار العلاقات الاقتصادية يتطلب رصد الفرص والتحديات؛ لزيادة حجم التبادل التجاري والاستثمارات المشتركة، وبناء الشراكات الاقتصادية، مشدداً على أهمية دور مجلس الأعمال المشترك في تعزيز التواصل وتكثيف الزيارات وإقامة المعارض ومناقشة فرص التعاون في المجالات الاستثمارية.
ودعا رئيس اتحاد الغرف السعودية، الشركات الإستونية للاستفادة من المميزات التي تمنحها المملكة للاستثمارات الأجنبية خصوصاً في المشروعات ذات الاهتمام المشترك التي تعمل في إطار رؤية المملكة 2030.
حوافز ومزايا
استعرض أمين عام اتحاد الغرف السعودية وليد العرينان دور الاتحاد وشراكاته الإستراتيجية محليّاً ودوليّاً، وإنجازاته الداعمة والممكنة للقطاع الخاص، فضلاً عن دور القطاع الخاص في رؤية 2030، وأهم مؤشراته الاقتصادية، وحوافز ومزايا وفرص الاستثمار بالمملكة.
بدورها أوضحت رئيسة مجلس الأعمال السعودي الإستوني أمال باسويد، أن رؤية المملكة 2030، تفتح فرصاً كبيرة للمستثمرين الإستونيين بالمشاريع الضخمة في المملكة، إذ إن إستونيا تقدم حلولاً ذكية وتعد شريكاً موثوقاً للمستقبل.
يذكر أن حجم التبادل التجاري بين المملكة وإستونيا بلغ 259 مليون ريال عام 2024، تمثل الصادرات 35 مليون ريال والواردات 224 مليون ريال، وهو ما يعد مؤشراً قويّاً على وجود فرص استثمارية وتجارية كبيرة.

The Saudi Chambers Federation organized the Saudi-Estonian Business Forum, attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia, Margus Tsahkna, the President of the Saudi Chambers Federation, Hassan Al-Huwaizi, and the Estonian Ambassador to the Kingdom, Maria Belovas, with the participation of more than 80 investors to discuss ways to enhance trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.
The Estonian delegation included agencies and companies working in various fields, including the development and growth of international trade for Estonia, telecommunications and information technology, energy, education, healthcare, and contracting.
The Estonian Foreign Minister highlighted the positive transformations taking place in his country regarding economic aspects, the business environment, and the incentives offered to investors, inviting Saudi business owners to visit Estonia and explore investment opportunities in various sectors.
He confirmed his country's interest in technology and digital transformation and their desire to share their expertise in these areas with the Kingdom, as well as to explore opportunities in the Saudi market, pointing to the capabilities and potentials that Estonia possesses in the fields of creativity and innovation, the active role of the private sector, and its interest in investing in human resources, cybersecurity, education, and startups.
Activating Trade
For his part, the President of the Saudi Chambers Federation, Hassan Al-Huwaizi, affirmed the Kingdom's keenness to strengthen its relations with Estonia, which is considered a gateway to activating international trade with the Baltic States and Eastern Europe, and is one of the leading countries in the field of digital transformation and e-government services.
He stated that improving the course of economic relations requires monitoring opportunities and challenges to increase the volume of trade exchange and joint investments, and to build economic partnerships, emphasizing the importance of the role of the Joint Business Council in enhancing communication, intensifying visits, holding exhibitions, and discussing cooperation opportunities in investment fields.
The President of the Saudi Chambers Federation called on Estonian companies to take advantage of the benefits that the Kingdom offers for foreign investments, especially in projects of mutual interest that operate within the framework of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

The Secretary-General of the Saudi Chambers Federation, Walid Al-Areenan, reviewed the role of the federation and its strategic partnerships locally and internationally, its supportive achievements for the private sector, as well as the role of the private sector in Vision 2030, its most important economic indicators, and the incentives, advantages, and investment opportunities in the Kingdom.
For her part, the Chairwoman of the Saudi-Estonian Business Council, Amal Basouaid, explained that the Kingdom's Vision 2030 opens up significant opportunities for Estonian investors in large projects in the Kingdom, as Estonia provides smart solutions and is a reliable partner for the future.
