يطلق محافظ الطائف الأمير سعود بن نهار بن سعود بن عبدالعزيز، غداً (الأحد) أعمال المؤتمر العالمي للسياحة العلاجية الذي يستمر خلال الفترة 7-8 سبتمبر 2025 بمشاركة نخبة من الخبراء والمتخصصين من داخل المملكة وخارجها.
وأوضح رئيس اللجنة العلمية للمؤتمر الأستاذ الدكتور طلال بن عبدالله المالكي أن المؤتمر حدث تاريخي يجمع كبار الخبراء والمهنيين من جميع أنحاء العالم لتبادل الأفكار الخبرات، مشيراً إلى أن التجمع في المؤتمر يعكس الالتزام المشترك بالنهوض بمعايير الرعاية الصحية وتعزيز خدمات السياحة العلاجية بما يتماشى مع أعلى المعايير الدولية.
وأضاف: نأمل أن يكون هذا المؤتمر بمثابة منصة ديناميكية للحوار البناء، يهدف إلى التعاون، وتشكيل شراكات إستراتيجية ترفع من جودة الخدمات والاستجابة للاحتياجات المتطورة للمرضى في جميع أنحاء العالم، مشيراً إلى أنه سيتم على هامش المؤتمر توقيع عدد من مذكرات التفاهم بين الجمعية وعدد من الجهات.
وسيتم خلال المؤتمر عقد عدد من الجلسات الحوارية بوجود أكثر من 16 متحدثاً ومختصاً وخبيراً في هذا المجال من داخل المملكة وخارجها، كما سيصاحب المؤتمر معرض لعرض التجارب العملية في السياحة العلاجية، إضافة لمشاركة عدد من الجهات الحكومية والقطاع الخاص.
وأشار رئيس مجلس إدارة الجمعية التعاونية للسياحة العلاجية المستشار سلطان بن عبدالعزيز السعدون إلى أن المؤتمر العالمي للسياحة العلاجية 2025 في محافظة الطائف، يعد أول حدث من نوعه في المملكة، ويهدف إلى ترسيخ مكانة بلادنا كوجهة رائدة تجمع بين الصحة والسياحة والاستشفاء.
وأضاف: نتطلع من خلال هذا المؤتمر إلى بناء جسور تعاون مع المستشفيات، والمراكز الطبية، والفنادق، والهيئات السياحية على المستوى المحلي والعالمي، بما يسهم في تطوير منظومة مستدامة للسياحة العلاجية، ويضع الطائف والمملكة في موقع متقدم على خريطة السياحة العلاجية العالمية.
The Governor of Taif, Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, will launch tomorrow (Sunday) the activities of the World Conference on Medical Tourism, which will take place from September 7-8, 2025, with the participation of a select group of experts and specialists from within the Kingdom and abroad.
The Chairman of the Scientific Committee for the conference, Professor Dr. Talal bin Abdullah Al-Maliki, explained that the conference is a historic event that brings together top experts and professionals from around the world to exchange ideas and experiences, noting that the gathering at the conference reflects a shared commitment to advancing healthcare standards and enhancing medical tourism services in line with the highest international standards.
He added: We hope that this conference will serve as a dynamic platform for constructive dialogue, aimed at collaboration and forming strategic partnerships that enhance the quality of services and respond to the evolving needs of patients worldwide, mentioning that several memorandums of understanding will be signed on the sidelines of the conference between the association and various entities.
During the conference, several panel discussions will be held featuring more than 16 speakers, specialists, and experts in this field from within the Kingdom and abroad. Additionally, there will be an exhibition showcasing practical experiences in medical tourism, along with the participation of several government entities and the private sector.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cooperative Association for Medical Tourism, Advisor Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Saadoun, pointed out that the World Conference on Medical Tourism 2025 in Taif is the first event of its kind in the Kingdom, aiming to establish our country’s position as a leading destination that combines health, tourism, and wellness.
He added: Through this conference, we look forward to building bridges of cooperation with hospitals, medical centers, hotels, and tourism authorities at both local and global levels, contributing to the development of a sustainable medical tourism system, and positioning Taif and the Kingdom prominently on the global medical tourism map.
