ضبطت وزارة التجارة بمعمل مخالف أكثر من 9.2 كيلوغرام من المشغولات الذهبية تحمل علامات تجارية مزورة ومخالفة لنظام المعادن الثمينة والأحجار الكريمة.
وباشرت الفرق الرقابية للوزارة بالشراكة مع الهيئة السعودية للملكية الفكرية، وهيئة الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك، المقر المخالف بحي المصانع جنوب الرياض، وضبطت 1368 مشغول ذهب تزن 9258 غراماً تحمل دمغة «علامة تجارية» غير مسجلة وعلامات مزورة، وتقدر القيمة السوقية للمضبوطات بأكثر من 3 ملايين و700 ألف ريال.
وتمت إحالة مالك الموقع المخالف للجهات المعنية لاستكمال تطبيق الإجراءات النظامية بحقه وفقاً لأحكام نظام المعادن الثمينة والأحجار الكريمة ونظام العلامات التجارية.
The Ministry of Commerce has seized more than 9.2 kilograms of gold jewelry in a violating workshop, which bears counterfeit trademarks and violates the Precious Metals and Gemstones System.
The ministry's monitoring teams, in partnership with the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, have raided the violating location in the factories area south of Riyadh, and seized 1,368 gold pieces weighing 9,258 grams that bear an unregistered "trademark" stamp and counterfeit marks. The market value of the seized items is estimated at more than 3 million and 700 thousand riyals.
The owner of the violating site has been referred to the relevant authorities to complete the legal procedures against him in accordance with the provisions of the Precious Metals and Gemstones System and the Trademark System.
