عقد مجلس الشؤون الاقتصادية والتنمية اجتماعاً عبر الاتصال المرئي. وفي مستهل الاجتماع، استعرض المجلس التقرير الاقتصادي الدوري لشهر يوليو 2025م، المقدم من وزارة الاقتصاد والتخطيط، الذي تضمن تحليلاً مفصلاً لأحدث المستجدات والتوقعات المرتبطة بالاقتصاد العالمي، وتقييماً لأبرز التحديات والمخاطر التي تواجهه، وراجع أداء الاقتصاد الوطني، والتوقعات للنصف الثاني من العام الحالي، إضافة إلى العام القادم 2026م، مبرزاً التقدم الإيجابي الملحوظ في نتائج سياسات التنويع الاقتصادي ضمن رؤية السعودية 2030، الذي يعكسه استمرار نمو اقتصاد المملكة للربع الرابع على التوالي، بدعم من مرونة الأنشطة غير النفطية، وارتفاع مؤشر مديري المشتريات إلى أعلى مستوى له في 3 أشهر.
وناقش المجلس التقرير الربعي لأداء برامج تحقيق رؤية السعودية 2030، والإستراتيجيات الوطنية للربع الأول من العام الحالي، المقدم من مكتب الإدارة الإستراتيجية بمجلس الشؤون الاقتصادية والتنمية، الذي استعرض أداء البرامج التنفيذية لتحقيق رؤية السعودية 2030، وحالة الإنجاز في تحقيق الأهداف الإستراتيجية، ومستويات التنفيذ خلال الفترة المحددة، إلى جانب تقييم الإستراتيجيات الوطنية والقطاعية، وأبرز إنجازاتها، ونظرة على الجهود القائمة والتطلعات المستقبلية، مما يضمن تواصل مسيرة التنفيذ واستمرار التقدم على صعيد محاور الرؤية الثلاثة «مجتمع حيوي، واقتصاد مزدهر، ووطن طموح».
وتناول المجلس تقرير أداء الأجهزة العامة للربع الأول من العام الحالي، والمقدم من المركز الوطني لقياس أداء الأجهزة العامة «أداء»، والجهود المبذولة في مجالات دعم وتمكين الوزارات والأجهزة الحكومية لتحقيق مستهدفاتها، وما أثمر عن تلك الجهود من تحسنٍ في أداء مؤشرات الأجهزة العامة في تحقيق مستهدفاتها، كما تضمن التقرير تحليلاً لأداء الإستراتيجات الوطنية والقطاعية، والتطلعات والخطوات المستقبلية.
وفي إطار متابعة مستوى إنجاز الأجهزة الحكومية للمهمات والتكليفات المسندة إليها، تابع المجلس نتائج تقرير مكتب إدارة المشروعات بمجلس الشؤون الاقتصادية والتنمية، حيال متابعة القرارات والتوصيات الصادرة عن المجلس خلال الربع الثاني من العام الحالي، وما احتوى عليه من تفصيل لمخرجاته، وحالة تلك المخرجات لدى الجهات الممثلة في المجلس، وإحصاءات لمستويات الإنجاز.
ونظر المجلس في عددٍ من الموضوعات والعروض الإجرائية المدرجة على جدول أعماله، من بينها ما يتعلق بالترتيبات التنظيمية للجنة الفعاليات، والهيكل والدليل التنظيمي لوزارة الاقتصاد والتخطيط، وإستراتيجية تطوير منطقة عسير.
كما اطلع المجلس على تقرير لجنة دراسة تحسين الإجراءات وتسريعها لطرح المشاريع الرأسمالية لجميع الجهات، والملخص التنفيذي الربعي لنشرة الناتج المحلي الإجمالي والحسابات القومية، وملخصين عن التقريرين الشهريين للرقم القياسي لأسعار المستهلك وأسعار الجملة. وقد اتخذ المجلس حيال تلك الموضوعات القرارات والتوصيات اللازمة.

The Economic and Development Affairs Council held a meeting via video conference. At the beginning of the meeting, the council reviewed the periodic economic report for July 2025, presented by the Ministry of Economy and Planning, which included a detailed analysis of the latest developments and forecasts related to the global economy, an assessment of the main challenges and risks it faces, a review of the national economy's performance, and forecasts for the second half of the current year, in addition to the coming year 2026. It highlighted the noticeable positive progress in the results of economic diversification policies within Saudi Vision 2030, reflected in the continued growth of the Kingdom's economy for the fourth consecutive quarter, supported by the resilience of non-oil activities and an increase in the Purchasing Managers' Index to its highest level in three months.
The council discussed the quarterly report on the performance of the programs aimed at achieving Saudi Vision 2030 and the national strategies for the first quarter of the current year, presented by the Strategic Management Office of the Economic and Development Affairs Council. This report reviewed the performance of the executive programs to achieve Saudi Vision 2030, the status of achievement in meeting strategic goals, and levels of implementation during the specified period, alongside an evaluation of national and sectoral strategies, their most significant achievements, and a look at ongoing efforts and future aspirations, ensuring the continuity of the implementation process and ongoing progress across the three pillars of the vision: "A Vibrant Society, A Thriving Economy, and An Ambitious Nation."
The council addressed the performance report of public agencies for the first quarter of the current year, presented by the National Center for Measuring the Performance of Public Agencies "Performance," detailing the efforts made in supporting and empowering ministries and government agencies to achieve their targets, and the improvements in the performance indicators of public agencies in meeting their objectives resulting from those efforts. The report also included an analysis of the performance of national and sectoral strategies, future aspirations, and next steps.
In the context of monitoring the level of achievement of government agencies in the tasks and assignments entrusted to them, the council followed up on the results of the report from the Project Management Office of the Economic and Development Affairs Council regarding the follow-up on the decisions and recommendations issued by the council during the second quarter of the current year, which contained details of its outputs, the status of those outputs with the entities represented in the council, and statistics on achievement levels.
The council considered several topics and procedural presentations listed on its agenda, including those related to the organizational arrangements for the Events Committee, the structure and organizational guide for the Ministry of Economy and Planning, and the strategy for developing the Asir region.
The council also reviewed the report from the Committee for Studying the Improvement and Acceleration of Procedures for the Launch of Capital Projects for all entities, the quarterly executive summary of the Gross Domestic Product and national accounts bulletin, and summaries of the monthly reports on the Consumer Price Index and wholesale prices. The council made the necessary decisions and recommendations regarding these topics.
