استعرضت الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي «سدايا» خلال جلسة ضمن أعمال قمة الذكاء الاصطناعي من أجل الخير (Al for Good Summit 2025)، المنعقدة في جنيف، موضوع آفاق تطبيق «إطار تقييم جاهزية الذكاء الاصطناعي» الذي أطلقته بالتعاون مع الاتحاد الدولي للاتصالات (ITU) في القمة العالمية للذكاء الاصطناعي بنسختها الثالثة بالرياض 2024، وسط حضور دولي من مختلف دول العالم.
واستعرض ممثلا «سدايا» مدير الإدارة العامة للدراسات الدكتور محمد العواد، ومدير عام الشراكات الإستراتيجية والمؤشرات رحاب العرفج، خلال مشاركتهما في الجلسة، الدور الدولي للمملكة في حوكمة وتطوير تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي، مؤكدين إسهاماتها في تعزيز التعاون الدولي، بما يعزز مكانتها كمرجع دولي موثوق ومؤثر في مجال الذكاء الاصطناعي.
وأبرزا خلال مشاركتهما العديد من المبادرات والمشاريع الوطنية الرائدة في مجال الذكاء الاصطناعي، ومنها مشروع «عيناي» الذي يُعد أحد الحلول الطبية المتقدمة في المملكة، الذي سَخّر قوة الذكاء الاصطناعي للكشف عن اعتلال الشبكية السكري وتشخيصه بدقة، وشكّل علامة فارقة في رحلة تطوير الرعاية الصحية بالمملكة عبر الاستفادة من أحدث إمكانات الذكاء الاصطناعي، مشيرين إلى جهود المملكة في إطلاق «إطار تقييم جاهزية الذكاء الاصطناعي»، الذي يجسّد التزام المملكة بدعم الاستخدام الآمن والمسؤول لهذه التقنية، وتعزيز ريادتها في تطوير منظومات الذكاء الاصطناعي بما يحقق التنمية المستدامة، ويرسخ مكانتها كمرجع عالمي رائد في هذا القطاع الحيوي.
وكانت «سدايا» وقعت خلال القمة العالمية للذكاء الاصطناعي في نسختها الثانية التي عقدت في سبتمبر 2022 بالرياض اتفاقية مع الاتحاد الدولي للاتصالات (ITU) لتطوير إطار عمل عالمي لقياس جاهزية الذكاء الاصطناعي، لمساعدة جميع الدول على مشاركة، وتبني أفضل ممارسات الذكاء الاصطناعي، والأطر التنظيمية والإصلاحات المؤسسية اللازمة.
وتعكس هذه المشاركة مكانة المملكة كشريك دولي موثوق في صناعة القرار العالمي في مجال تقنيات البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي، ودورها الريادي في تعزيز التعاون العالمي لضمان الاستخدام الآمن والمسؤول للتقنيات الحديثة، وبناء القدرات البشرية، بما يسهم في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، ويتماشى مع دعم المملكة لأهداف التنمية المستدامة للأمم المتحدة.
The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) presented during a session at the Al for Good Summit 2025 held in Geneva, the prospects of implementing the "AI Readiness Assessment Framework" that it launched in collaboration with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) at the third Global AI Summit in Riyadh 2024, with international attendance from various countries around the world.
During their participation in the session, SDAIA representatives, the Director General of Studies Dr. Mohammed Al-Awad, and the Director General of Strategic Partnerships and Indicators Rehab Al-Orfaj, showcased the Kingdom's international role in governing and developing AI technologies, emphasizing its contributions to enhancing international cooperation, which strengthens its position as a reliable and influential international reference in the field of artificial intelligence.
They highlighted several pioneering national initiatives and projects in the field of artificial intelligence, including the "Ainai" project, which is considered one of the advanced medical solutions in the Kingdom. This project harnesses the power of artificial intelligence to accurately detect and diagnose diabetic retinopathy, marking a significant milestone in the journey of developing healthcare in the Kingdom by leveraging the latest capabilities of artificial intelligence. They pointed to the Kingdom's efforts in launching the "AI Readiness Assessment Framework," which embodies the Kingdom's commitment to supporting the safe and responsible use of this technology and enhancing its leadership in developing AI systems that achieve sustainable development, solidifying its position as a leading global reference in this vital sector.
SDAIA had signed an agreement with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) during the second Global AI Summit held in September 2022 in Riyadh to develop a global framework for measuring AI readiness, to assist all countries in sharing and adopting best practices in artificial intelligence, as well as the necessary regulatory frameworks and institutional reforms.
This participation reflects the Kingdom's position as a reliable international partner in global decision-making in the field of data and artificial intelligence technologies, and its pioneering role in enhancing global cooperation to ensure the safe and responsible use of modern technologies, building human capacities, which contributes to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, and aligns with the Kingdom's support for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
