أعلنت وزارة التجارة استدعاء 450 جهاز ثلاجة ومجمد «BENCHMARK» طراز «R-611ML» سنة الصنع 2024؛ لعدم مطابقتها للمواصفات القياسية السعودية لكفاءة الطاقة.
وكانت وزارة التجارة قد أعلنت في وقت سابق من العام الماضي إطلاق حملة استدعاء لعدد من أجهزة المكيفات التي تبيّن عدم مطابقتها للمواصفات القياسية لكفاءة الطاقة، ما قد يتسبب في استهلاك زائد للطاقة.
وأوضحت الوزارة أن هذه الأجهزة لا تحقق متطلبات كفاءة الطاقة المعتمدة، داعية جميع المستهلكين إلى التحقق من شمول رقم المكيف الخاص بهم ضمن حملة الاستدعاء عبر الموقع الإلكتروني Recalls.sa.

The Ministry of Commerce announced the recall of 450 refrigerator and freezer units "BENCHMARK" model "R-611ML" manufactured in 2024, due to non-compliance with Saudi standards for energy efficiency.
The Ministry of Commerce had previously announced the launch of a recall campaign for several air conditioning units that were found to be non-compliant with energy efficiency standards, which could lead to excessive energy consumption.
The ministry clarified that these devices do not meet the approved energy efficiency requirements, urging all consumers to check if their air conditioning unit's number is included in the recall campaign via the website Recalls.sa.
