انطلقت أعمال الملتقى التعريفي لمعرض سيتي سكيب الرياض والمقام في لندن، برعاية وحضور وزير البلديات والإسكان رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للعقار ماجد الحقيل، وأكثر من 100 شركة عالمية وصناديق استثمارية تدير مشاريع كبرى بأصول تتجاوز 4.4 تريليون دولار.
وأشار الحقيل خلال كلمته الافتتاحية، إلى أنّ المملكة العربية السعودية تشهد مرحلة تاريخية تعمل فيها على إعادة رسم ملامح المدن السعودية بأسلوب مبتكر يتجاوز المفاهيم الحالية، بما يسهم في تطوير مراكز تزخر بالفرص وتجمع بين الابتكار وأعلى مستويات جودة الحياة، في ضوء رؤية المملكة 2030 بدعم القيادة الرشيدة.
وأضاف وزير البلديات والإسكان أنّ الملتقى يمثل خطوة إستراتيجية لترسيخ مكانة المملكة محورًا عالميًّا للاستثمار العقاري، فمعرض سيتي سكيب العالمي يسهم في الوصول للفرص الاستثمارية المتنوعة في السوق العقاري السعودي، ويجذب المزيد من الاستثمارات الأجنبية، لتنويع الاقتصاد وزيادة مساهمة القطاع في النتاج المحلي، إضافة إلى استعراض الطموح السعودي وقصص النجاح العمرانية المتفردة التي كانت حلمًا بالأمس وواقع نعيشه اليوم.
من جانبه أكد الرئيس التنفيذي للهيئة العامة للعقار المهندس عبدالله الحماد، أنّ القطاع العقاري السعودي أحد أعمدة التحول الوطني ضمن رؤية 2030، التي أساسها تنمية الإنسان والمكان، مضيفًا أنّ المملكة العربية السعودية وجهة استثمارية، وشريك إستراتيجي في صياغة مستقبل القطاع العقاري عالميًا، وأنّ الدعم الحكومي والتكامل بين القطاعات صنعا بيئة عقارية منظمة تتسم بالمرونة والموثوقية.
وأوضح الحماد أنّ فتح باب الاستثمارات الأجنبية عزز التنافسية وسرع وتيرة الإنشاءات العقارية، وأنّ جميع الممكنات متاحة أمام المستثمرين، داعيًا إلى اكتشاف الفرص العقارية في السوق السعودي، وأنّ الهيئة تؤمن بأن الشفافية والبيانات الدقيقة هما أساس الثقة، التي تمثل رأس المال الحقيقي للاستثمار، وأنّ الطموح لا يتوقف عند تطوير العقارات، بل يمتد إلى إعادة تعريف معنى العيش في مدن الغد، وسوق العقارات في السعودية أصبح أكثر نضجًا وشفافية وجاذبية للمستثمرين.
ويضم الملتقى لقاءات عمل جمعت المستثمرين الدوليين وقادة الحكومات وأبرز المطورين؛ بهدف تعزيز التعاون وتوفير فرص استثمارية غير مسبوقة في سوق العقار السعودي، الذي يعد من الأكثر حيوية في المنطقة، وأتاح الملتقى فرصة التواصل المباشر مع أبرز صنّاع القرار في وزارة البلديات والإسكان، والهيئة العامة للعقار، ووزارة الاستثمار في المملكة العربية السعودية، إضافة إلى كبار الممثلين من الشركة السعودية لإعادة التمويل العقاري، والشركة السعودية لخدمات الضمان الإسكاني (ضمانات) والشركة الوطنية للإسكان وصندوق الاستثمارات العامة وشركة إدارة وتطوير مركز الملك عبدالله المالي وشركة البحر الأحمر الدولية وشركة المربّع الجديد ومؤسسة المسار الرياضي.
يذكر أنّ معرض سيتي سكيب العالمي الذي ستشهده الرياض نوفمبر القادم يأتي في خضم التنمية الحضرية الواسعة والمستمرة في مختلف أرجاء المملكة، ليوفر فرصًا للمهندسين المعماريين والمتخصصين في التخطيط الحضري والمستشارين وممثلي وكالات الاستثمار والوكالات الاقتصادية والمدن؛ من أجل مناقشة أحدث التطورات في قطاع العقارات في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا والعالم، ويتيح للشركات المحلية والإقليمية والدولية منصة رفيعة المستوى من أجل استعراض مشاريعها وخدماتها أمام الزوار من مختلف أنحاء العالم، إلى جانب عقد شراكات جديدة متعددة الجنسيات.

He added that the forum represents a strategic step to establish the Kingdom as a global hub for real estate investment, as the Cityscape Global exhibition contributes to accessing diverse investment opportunities in the Saudi real estate market and attracts more foreign investments to diversify the economy and increase the sector's contribution to the local output, in addition to showcasing Saudi ambition and unique urban success stories that were dreams yesterday and are a reality we live today.
For his part, the CEO of the General Authority for Real Estate, Engineer Abdullah Al-Hammad, confirmed that the Saudi real estate sector is one of the pillars of national transformation within Vision 2030, which is based on the development of both people and place. He added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an investment destination and a strategic partner in shaping the future of the real estate sector globally, and that government support and integration between sectors have created an organized real estate environment characterized by flexibility and reliability.
Al-Hammad explained that opening the door to foreign investments has enhanced competitiveness and accelerated the pace of real estate construction, and that all possibilities are available to investors, calling for the discovery of real estate opportunities in the Saudi market. He emphasized that the authority believes that transparency and accurate data are the foundation of trust, which represents the real capital for investment, and that ambition does not stop at developing properties but extends to redefining the meaning of living in the cities of tomorrow. The real estate market in Saudi Arabia has become more mature, transparent, and attractive to investors.
