Oil prices fell today (Monday), as rising crude oil exports from the Middle East and withdrawals from oil stocks in the G7 countries added to supplies.
Brent crude futures dropped to around $101.59 per barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude fell to about $90.12 per barrel during Asian trading.
Both crude types had recorded an increase earlier in the session, with Brent surpassing $103 per barrel, before reversing direction as traders assessed the anticipated increase in supplies.
