عُقد الاجتماع السادس لوكلاء اللجنة الدولية للشؤون النقدية والمالية في صندوق النقد الدولي، عبر الاتصال المرئي، برئاسة المملكة العربية السعودية، ومشاركة عدد من كبار المسؤولين والخبراء من الدول الأعضاء.
وأشار رئيس وكلاء اللجنة الدولية للشؤون النقدية والمالية الدكتور رياض الخريّف، في كلمته الافتتاحية، إلى أن آفاق الاقتصاد العالمي لا تزال تواجه العديد من التحديات في ظل التطورات الجيوسياسية الراهنة، مؤكداً أهمية تعزيز التعاون الدولي وتنسيق السياسات الاقتصادية لمواجهة تلك التحديات، ودعم النمو الاقتصادي المستدام.
وشدد الخريّف على أهمية مواصلة اللجنة دورها في توحيد الجهود وتعزيز التنسيق الدولي متعدد الأطراف لمواجهة التحديات المشتركة، إلى جانب الدور المحوري للصندوق في دعم الدول الأعضاء وتعزيز الاستقرار الاقتصادي والمالي العالمي.
واستعرض المشاركون أجندة السياسات العالمية للمدير العام لصندوق النقد الدولي، وبحثوا دور الصندوق في دعم الدول الأعضاء وتعزيز استقرار الاقتصاد العالمي.
وتناول الاجتماع مسودة البيان الختامي للجنة، وأبرز القضايا المتعلقة بالسياسات الاقتصادية والمالية الدولية، وذلك في إطار التحضيرات للاجتماعات السنوية لصندوق النقد الدولي ومجموعة البنك الدولي للعام 2026م، والمقرر عقدها في العاصمة التايلندية بانكوك خلال الفترة من 12 إلى 18 أكتوبر الجاري.
The sixth meeting of the International Monetary and Financial Committee's deputies at the International Monetary Fund was held via video conference, chaired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the participation of a number of senior officials and experts from member countries.
The Chairman of the International Monetary and Financial Committee's deputies, Dr. Riad Al-Khuraif, in his opening speech, pointed out that the prospects for the global economy continue to face many challenges amid current geopolitical developments, emphasizing the importance of enhancing international cooperation and coordinating economic policies to address those challenges and support sustainable economic growth.
Al-Khuraif stressed the importance of the committee continuing its role in unifying efforts and enhancing multilateral international coordination to face common challenges, alongside the pivotal role of the Fund in supporting member countries and promoting global economic and financial stability.
The participants reviewed the global policy agenda of the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund and discussed the Fund's role in supporting member countries and enhancing global economic stability.
The meeting addressed the draft final statement of the committee and highlighted key issues related to international economic and financial policies, as part of the preparations for the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group for the year 2026, scheduled to be held in the Thai capital, Bangkok, from October 12 to 18 of this year.
