ارتفعت مطلوبات المصارف من القطاع العام الحكومي وشبه الحكومي إلى نحو 953.1 مليار ريال بنهاية أغسطس الماضي، بزيادة 8.4 مليار ريال وبنسبة 0.9%، عن مستوياته في الشهر الذي سبقه (يوليو 2026)، التي كانت 944.7 مليار ريال لتحقق أعلى مستوياتها على الإطلاق. وذلك بحسب ما كشفته بيانات البنك المركزي السعودي «ساما» لشهر أغسطس 2026.
ارتفاع السندات الحكومية
وبحسب النشرة الإحصائية لشهر يوليو ارتفعت السندات الحكومية (تشتمل على السندات والصكوك الحكومية المصدرة دولياً والتي تقوم المصارف بشرائها من السوق الثانوية)، التي استثمرت فيها البنوك السعودية إلى 676 مليار ريال بنهاية أغسطس 2026، وبقيمة 5069 مليون ريال، مقارنة بـ 671 مليار ريال بنهاية يوليو 2026.
نمو الائتمان المصرفي للمؤسسات العامة
من جهة أخرى نما الائتمان المصرفي للمؤسسات العامة إلى 277 مليار ريال بنهاية أغسطس 2026، وبقيمة 3325 مليون ريال عن مستوياته في شهر يوليو الماضي التي كانت 273.7 مليار ريال. يذكر أن مطلوبات البنوك من القطاع العام تتكون من السندات الحكومية، إضافة إلى الائتمان المصرفي للمؤسسات العامة، والتي بدورها تشتمل على القروض والسلف والسحب على المكشوف.
The banks' claims on the government and quasi-government sector rose to approximately 953.1 billion riyals by the end of August last year, an increase of 8.4 billion riyals and a percentage of 0.9%, compared to its levels in the previous month (July 2026), which were 944.7 billion riyals, achieving its highest level ever. This was revealed by the data from the Saudi Central Bank "SAMA" for August 2026.
Increase in Government Bonds
According to the statistical bulletin for July, government bonds (which include bonds and government sukuk issued internationally that banks purchase from the secondary market), in which Saudi banks invested, rose to 676 billion riyals by the end of August 2026, with a value of 5069 million riyals, compared to 671 billion riyals by the end of July 2026.
Growth of Bank Credit to Public Institutions
On another note, bank credit to public institutions grew to 277 billion riyals by the end of August 2026, with an increase of 3325 million riyals compared to its levels in July, which were 273.7 billion riyals. It is worth noting that banks' claims on the public sector consist of government bonds, in addition to bank credit to public institutions, which in turn includes loans, advances, and overdrafts.
