A former Turkish minister and deputy secretary-general of the ruling Justice and Development Party, Betül Sayan Kaya, has submitted her resignation amid a massive crisis related to investment funds.
This came after days of speculation regarding Kaya's connections to the investment fund scandal that began to unfold earlier this month and raised concerns about a liquidity crisis. This was reported by the website "Al Arabiya.net".
Regulatory authorities acted swiftly to address the crisis, liquidating seven companies that own 131 investment funds, with assets valued at nearly $17 billion.

Revealing All Violations
For his part, the spokesperson for the Justice and Development Party, Omar Celik, stated: "The fight against all forms of violations will be relentless."
He added via the X platform: "If any allegations arise, they will be investigated, all violations will be revealed, and those who commit offenses will be held accountable before the law."
