استعاد المستشار الديني في وزارة التعليم والأديان، والمفتي السابق في الجمهورية اليونانية الشيخ الدكتور جهاد خليل، خلال زيارته لمجمع الملك فهد لطباعة المصحف الشريف بالمدينة المنورة، ذكريات مرحلة علمية بارزة من مسيرته، بعد أكثر من عقدين على مغادرته المدينة المنورة، حيث كان أحد المشاركين في مراجعة الترجمة اليونانية لمعاني القرآن الكريم الصادرة عن المجمع.
وجاءت زيارة الدكتور جهاد ضمن البرنامج الثقافي المصاحب للدفعة الثانية من برنامج ضيوف خادم الحرمين الشريفين للعمرة والزيارة، الذي تنفذه وزارة الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد، ليعود مجددًا إلى أروقة المجمع الذي شهد جانبًا مهمًا من مسيرته العلمية، مستعيدًا تفاصيل سنوات قضاها في مراجعة الترجمة اليونانية لمعاني القرآن الكريم، واصفًا تلك المرحلة بأنها من أبرز المحطات العلمية في حياته.
ذكريات علمية مميزة
وأوضح الدكتور جهاد أن مشاركته في مراجعة ترجمة معاني القرآن الكريم امتدت لأكثر من عامين، بالتزامن مع دراسته لمرحلتي الماجستير والدكتوراه في جامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية، بعد إتمامه مرحلة البكالوريوس في الجامعة الإسلامية بالمدينة المنورة، مبينًا أن تلك المرحلة ارتبطت بذكريات علمية مميزة، كان خلالها يراجع كل صفحة وكل آية بعناية ودقة، حرصًا على سلامة المعنى ودقة الدلالة قبل اعتماد الترجمة للطباعة.
وأكد أن الترجمة اليونانية الصادرة عن مجمع الملك فهد لطباعة المصحف الشريف تحظى بمكانة وثقة واسعتين لدى المسلمين والباحثين في اليونان، وأصبحت مرجعًا يستفيد منه العلماء والدعاة والجامعات؛ لما تتميز به من دقة علمية ومنهجية رصينة، مشيرًا إلى أن اسمه لا يزال مثبتًا في مقدمة الترجمة، وهو ما يعدّه وسامًا علميًا يعتز به.
وأشار إلى أن أثر هذه الترجمة لم يقتصر على المؤسسات والمراكز الإسلامية، بل امتد إلى المجال الأكاديمي، مبينًا أنه يعتمد عليها في تدريس علوم القرآن وتفسيره في جامعة أرسطو بمدينة تسالونيكي، كما يستفيد منها المسلمون وغير المسلمين الناطقون باللغة اليونانية في التعرف على معاني القرآن الكريم من مصدر موثوق.
سنوات حافلة بالعلم والعطاء
واستعاد الدكتور جهاد خليل تفاصيل مغادرته المدينة المنورة عام 2003، بعد إتمام أعمال مراجعة الترجمة، مؤكدًا أن عودته اليوم ضمن الدفعة الثانية من برنامج ضيوف خادم الحرمين الشريفين للعمرة والزيارة أعادت إليه ذكريات سنوات حافلة بالعلم والعطاء، وجددت مشاعر الارتباط بالمكان الذي شهد إحدى أهم مراحل مسيرته الأكاديمية والدعوية.
وفي ختام حديثه، رفع الشيخ الدكتور جهاد خليل أسمى آيات الشكر والتقدير إلى خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، مثمنًا ما توليه المملكة العربية السعودية من عناية بكتاب الله الكريم، وما تقدمه من دعم لمجمع الملك فهد لطباعة المصحف الشريف، الذي يواصل رسالته في طباعة المصحف الشريف وترجمة معانيه ونشرها بأكثر من ٨٠ لغة بمختلف اللغات، بما يسهم في التعريف بالقرآن الكريم وإيصال رسالة الإسلام السمحة إلى شعوب العالم.
The religious advisor at the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, and former mufti of the Hellenic Republic, Sheikh Dr. Jihad Khalil, during his visit to the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran in Medina, recalled a prominent academic phase of his career, more than two decades after leaving Medina, where he was one of the participants in reviewing the Greek translation of the meanings of the Holy Quran issued by the complex.
Dr. Jihad's visit was part of the cultural program accompanying the second batch of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program for Umrah and visitation, implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Da'wah, and Guidance, allowing him to return once again to the halls of the complex that witnessed an important aspect of his academic journey, recalling details of the years he spent reviewing the Greek translation of the meanings of the Holy Quran, describing that phase as one of the most prominent scientific milestones in his life.
Distinctive Academic Memories
Dr. Jihad explained that his participation in reviewing the translation of the meanings of the Holy Quran extended for more than two years, coinciding with his studies for his master's and doctoral degrees at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, after completing his bachelor's degree at the Islamic University in Medina. He indicated that this phase was associated with distinctive academic memories, during which he meticulously reviewed every page and every verse, ensuring the accuracy of meaning and precision of interpretation before approving the translation for printing.
He affirmed that the Greek translation issued by the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran holds a significant and wide trust among Muslims and researchers in Greece, becoming a reference utilized by scholars, preachers, and universities due to its scientific accuracy and solid methodology. He pointed out that his name is still mentioned at the beginning of the translation, which he considers an academic honor he takes pride in.
He noted that the impact of this translation is not limited to Islamic institutions and centers but has extended to the academic field, indicating that he relies on it in teaching Quranic sciences and its interpretation at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, as both Muslims and non-Muslims who speak Greek benefit from it in understanding the meanings of the Holy Quran from a reliable source.
Years Filled with Knowledge and Giving
Dr. Jihad Khalil recalled the details of his departure from Medina in 2003, after completing the review of the translation, affirming that his return today as part of the second batch of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program for Umrah and visitation has revived memories of years filled with knowledge and giving, renewing his feelings of connection to the place that witnessed one of the most important phases of his academic and Da'wah journey.
