كشفت مصادر «عكاظ» اتفاق نادي الشباب مع اللاعب عبدالله معتوق على تجديد عقده لمدة 3 سنوات قادمة، وذلك في إطار توجه الإدارة الشبابية للحفاظ على عناصر الفريق قبل انطلاق منافسات الموسم الرياضي الجديد، على أن تستكمل خلال الفترة القادمة إجراءات التوقيع، تمهيدًا للإعلان الرسمي عن تجديد العقد حتى العام 2029.
ويأتي قرار التجديد ضمن خطوات نادي الشباب لتعزيز الاستقرار الفني والإبقاء على العناصر التي يعتمد عليها الفريق للموسم الجديد.
