تراجعت أسعار الذهب اليوم (الإثنين) 0.5 % إلى 4322.28 دولار للأوقية، من أعلى مستوى في سبعة أسابيع سجلتها في الجلسة السابقة، مع إقبال المستثمرين على جني الأرباح وترقب بيانات التضخم الأمريكية لاستشراف مسار أسعار الفائدة.
وقال محلل الأسواق لدى كيه سي إم تريد تيم ووترر، إن التراجع يمثل استقرارًا طبيعيًا بعد المكاسب القوية التي حققها الذهب الأسبوع الماضي، متوقعًا بقاء الأسعار مدعومة فوق مستوى 4300 دولار على المدى القريب، وتترقب الأسواق صدور مؤشر أسعار المستهلكين الأربعاء ومؤشر أسعار المنتجين الخميس.
وتعززت توقعات خفض أسعار الفائدة الأمريكية بعد بيانات أظهرت فقدان الاقتصاد وظائف على نحو غير متوقع في يوليو، مما يدعم جاذبية الذهب.
وفي المقابل، انخفضت الفضة 0.2 % إلى 63.45 دولار للأوقية، والبلاتين 0.1 % إلى 1742.50 دولار، بينما تراجع البلاديوم 1.1 % إلى 1362.97 دولار.
Gold prices fell today (Monday) by 0.5% to $4322.28 per ounce, down from a seven-week high reached in the previous session, as investors sought to take profits and awaited U.S. inflation data to gauge the direction of interest rates.
Market analyst at KCM Trade Tim Waterer stated that the decline represents a natural stabilization after the strong gains gold achieved last week, expecting prices to remain supported above the $4300 level in the near term, with markets awaiting the Consumer Price Index on Wednesday and the Producer Price Index on Thursday.
Expectations for a cut in U.S. interest rates were bolstered after data showed the economy unexpectedly lost jobs in July, which supports the appeal of gold.
In contrast, silver fell by 0.2% to $63.45 per ounce, platinum decreased by 0.1% to $1742.50, while palladium dropped by 1.1% to $1362.97.
