بحث رئيس الوفد السعودي المشارك في المنتدى الحضري العالمي الثالث عشر وزير البلديات والإسكان ماجد بن عبدالله الحقيل، خلال لقائه نائب رئيس وزراء جمهورية أذربيجان سمير شريفوف، على هامش أعمال المنتدى، آفاق التعاون بين المملكة العربية السعودية وجمهورية أذربيجان في المجالات الاقتصادية والحضرية، وفرص تطوير مشاريع مشتركة تدعم مسارات التنمية المستدامة وتعزز كفاءة المدن وجودة الحياة.
إنجازات نوعية
واستعرض الجانبان إمكانات المملكة في مجالات التخطيط الحضري والتطوير العمراني، وما حققته من إنجازات نوعية في إعادة تشكيل المدن وبناء بيئات حضرية مستدامة تعتمد على الابتكار ورفع كفاءة البنية التحتية، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
فرص واعدة
وتناول اللقاء الفرص الواعدة للتعاون في تطوير المشاريع الحضرية، وتمكين الاستثمارات النوعية في قطاعات الإسكان والتخطيط الحضري، إلى جانب تبادل الخبرات في إدارة المدن الذكية وحلول الاستدامة الحضرية.
وتأتي هذه المباحثات ضمن مشاركة المملكة في أعمال المنتدى الحضري العالمي الثالث عشر، بما يعكس حضورها الفاعل في صياغة مستقبل التنمية الحضرية على المستوى الدولي.
The head of the Saudi delegation participating in the 13th World Urban Forum, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hoqail, during his meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Samir Sharifov, on the sidelines of the forum, discussed the prospects for cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Azerbaijan in the economic and urban fields, and opportunities to develop joint projects that support sustainable development pathways and enhance the efficiency of cities and quality of life.
Qualitative Achievements
The two sides reviewed the Kingdom's capabilities in urban planning and development, as well as its qualitative achievements in reshaping cities and building sustainable urban environments based on innovation and improving infrastructure efficiency, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Promising Opportunities
The meeting addressed the promising opportunities for cooperation in developing urban projects and enabling quality investments in the housing and urban planning sectors, in addition to exchanging experiences in smart city management and urban sustainability solutions.
These discussions are part of the Kingdom's participation in the 13th World Urban Forum, reflecting its active presence in shaping the future of urban development at the international level.
