كشف الرئيس وكبير الإداريين التنفيذيين لشركة أرامكو السعودية أمين الناصر، أن العالم خسر نحو مليار برميل من النفط خلال الشهرين الماضيين.
وأوضح الناصر تعليقاً على نتائج الشركة الصادرة اليوم، أن الشهرين الماضيين شكلا تذكيراً واضحاً بأن النفط والغاز لا يزالان عنصرين أساسيين لأمن الطاقة العالمي.
وأشار إلى أنه حتى مع استئناف تدفقات الطاقة، فإن عودة النظام إلى وضعه الطبيعي ستستغرق وقتاً.
ضمان تدفق الطاقة
وبين أن هدف أرامكو يتمثل في ضمان استمرار تدفق الطاقة، مؤكداً أن الشركة استطاعت إعادة تشغيل بعض المرافق المتضررة في أقل من 24 إلى 48 ساعة، وهي عملية كان من الممكن أن تستغرق شهوراً لولا الاستثمار المسبق والتخطيط للطوارئ.
وذكر أن نقص الاستثمار لسنوات، إلى جانب انقطاع الإمدادات في الآونة الأخيرة، زادا من الضغط على المخزونات العالمية.
The President and CEO of Saudi Aramco, Amin Nasser, revealed that the world has lost about one billion barrels of oil over the past two months.
Nasser explained in a comment on the company's results released today that the past two months have served as a clear reminder that oil and gas remain essential elements for global energy security.
He pointed out that even with the resumption of energy flows, returning the system to normal will take time.
Ensuring Energy Flow
He noted that Aramco's goal is to ensure the continued flow of energy, emphasizing that the company was able to restart some of the affected facilities in less than 24 to 48 hours, a process that could have taken months without prior investment and emergency planning.
He mentioned that years of underinvestment, along with recent supply disruptions, have increased pressure on global inventories.
