أعلنت وكالة الطاقة الدولية، اليوم، أنها ستفرج عن كميات إضافية من احتياطي النفط عند الحاجة.
وبحسب ما ذكرت وكالات أنباء، فإن رئيسة وزراء اليابان ساناي تاكايتشي طلبت من المدير التنفيذي للوكالة الدولية للطاقة فاتح بيرول الإفراج عن كمية إضافية من مخزونات النفط بشكل منسق، وذلك خلال لقاء جمعهما اليوم.
أسوأ أزمة طاقة
وحذّر المدير التنفيذي لوكالة الطاقة الدولية فاتح بيرول أخيراً من أن العالم قد يواجه أسوأ أزمة طاقة منذ عقود بسبب الحرب في الشرق الأوسط، مؤكدا أن الوضع «خطير جدا».
وقال في نادي الصحافة الوطني في كانبيرا: «حتى الآن، خسرنا 11 مليون برميل يوميا، أي أكثر مما خسرناه خلال أزمتي النفط الرئيسيتين مجتمعتين في سبعينات القرن الماضي».
وأضاف: «في ذلك الوقت، خسر العالم نحو 5 ملايين برميل يوميا في كل من الأزمتين، أي ما مجموعه 10 ملايين برميل يوميا إذا جمعنا الأزمتين».

The Worst Energy Crisis
Fatih Birol, the Executive Director of the International Energy Agency, recently warned that the world may face the worst energy crisis in decades due to the war in the Middle East, emphasizing that the situation is "very serious."
He stated at the National Press Club in Canberra: "So far, we have lost 11 million barrels per day, which is more than we lost during the two major oil crises combined in the 1970s."
He added: "At that time, the world lost about 5 million barrels per day in each of the crises, totaling 10 million barrels per day when we combine the two crises."
